R E S O L U T I O N No. 305 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY ADOPTING BUDGET AND APPROVING MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT FOR EXPENDITURE OF L$4 CENT GAS TAX ALLOCATED FOR STREETS OF MAJOR IMPORTANCE WHEREAS, a memorandum of agreement has been presented to be entered into with the State of California in accordance with a project statement for expenditure of the 1/4 cent gas tax for the fiscal year 1946 allocated for streets of major importance other than State highways in the City of Redwood City; and ' WHEREAS, the city council has heard read said agreement in full and is familiar with the contents thereof;. THEREFORE, be it resolved by the city council of the City of Redwood City that said project statement be and it is hereby adopted as the bud- get of proposed expenditures of the 1/4 cent gas tax allocated for streets of major importance other than State highways, and said agreement be and the same is hereby approved and the City Manager and the City Clerk are directed to sign the same on behalf of said City, said agreement to be binding upon the City upon its execution by the authorized officials of the State. R E S 0 L V T ION No. 306 ADOPTING PLANS, PROFILES AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS AT EL CAMINO REAL AND JAMES AVENUE, RED- WOOD CITY, CALIFORNIA, AND CALLING FOR BIDS THEREFORE. RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California, that ' WHEREAS the plans, profiles, detailed drawings and specifications for doing the following work and making the following improvements in the City of Redwood City, to -wit: The existing curb and gutter is to be removed and rebuilt to new line and grade. Two reinforced P.C.C. drop inlet catchbasins with metal curb inlets and frames and gratings to be provided and built with connecting 15" concrete pipe drain and an 18" concrete pipe outlet drain to connect with the existing drop inlet catchbasin on E1 Camino Real `` as shown on the plans. The top of the existing inlet is to be removed and rebuilt as shown on the plans. The existing sidewalks and drive- way entrance aprons on the line of the work are to be removed and re- built; also the existing open gutter.across James Avenue shall be filled with asphaltic concrete to new line and grade as shown. All existing light, signal and other poles or standards shall be removed and reset as required, have been prepared by R. J. Clarke and Charles E. Randlett, acting City Engineers respectively of said City, and submitted to and filed with this Council on this date; I; NOW 'THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City ofaRedwood City that said Plans, profiles, specifications, drawings, and map or plat 317
