The motion was seconded by Councilman Armstrong and i <br />on roll call was unanimously adopted with Councilman Anderson absent. <br />RESOLUTION No 309 <br />AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OF A PORTION OF UNBUDGETED RESERVE TO GENERAL <br />GOVERNMENT, MISCELLANEOUS EXPENSE.." <br />RESOLVED, that the sum of $145.00 be and it is hereby authorized to <br />be transferred by the City Treasurer from Unbudgeted Reserve to General <br />Government, Miscellaneous Expense, Account #409-13, said transfer to cover <br />expenditure covering storage of Olive Koemple's automobile from October 5, <br />1943 to March 5, 1946. ' <br />The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the <br />Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular meeting thereof held on <br />the 15th day of April 1946, by the following vote: <br />AYES, and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing <br />resolution: <br />Councilmen: C. C. ARMSTRONG, C. A. BRITSCHGI, E. A. FLETCHER, F. D. <br />GRANGER, G. W McNULTY and W. W. HILTON <br />Mayor of the City of Redwood City <br />Mayor Hilton asked if anything were being done in regard to trucks parking on <br />streets -between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 6:00 A. M. It was his <br />opinion this practice should be stopped. <br />There was some discussion in regard to the erection of prefabricated houses and <br />quonset huts and Councilman Granger moved, seconded by Councilman Britschgi, <br />that the Building Inspector be instructed to make a study of the present <br />building ordinance to see that the city is properly covered from the <br />erection of prefabricated houses and quonset huts, the Building Inspector <br />not to issue any permits for such construction until the report is com- <br />pleted. Motion passed unanimously. <br />Claims No. 6731 to 6813 in the amount of $17,613.55 were approved and ordered <br />paid on motion of Councilman McNulty, seconded by Councilman Fletcher. <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />Councilman Granger moved, seconded by Councilman McNulty, that the meeting be <br />adjourned to Tuesday, April 162 1946, at 8:00 P.M. for the purpose of <br />canvassing ballots and any other business that might come before the <br />Council.
