DODGE
Clerk of the City of Redwood City
I hereby approve the foregoing Resolution this 6th
day of May, 1946.
W. W. HILTON
® Mayor of the City of Redwood City
In regard to action granting Taxi space to Luxor, Yellow and Sequoia Cab Com-
panies, City Manager Blom reported that the attorneys for the cab companies
had requested that action be deferred until the next meeting of the Council
to allow time for the taxi companies to reach an agreement as to requested
space. Councilman Granger expressed the opinion that it was his under-
standing that the Chief of Police was to bring in a report on taxi space
and that no individual attention would be given to individual companies.
Councilman Werder moved, seconded by Councilman Armstrong, that the recom-
mendation of the City Manager to defer action on this matter be approved
and the matter carried on the agenda. Councilman Granger upon the reoommen-
dation of the Building Inspector moved introduction of amendment to the
building ordinance, seconded by Councilman Werder. Motion passed unani-
mously.
Further discussion following.the introduction of the building ordinance
' amendment was held.
