HILTON <br />Mayor of the City of Redwood City <br />Councilman McNulty moved, seconded by Councilman Werder, adoption of resolution <br />of quit claim deed to Lot 29, Block 1, Cooper and Cunningham Subdivision. <br />On roll call, resolution was unanimously adopted. <br />RESOLUTION No. 320 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING DEED OF Lot 29 in Block 1 OF HOOPER AND CUNNINGHAM <br />SUBDIVISION - <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City obtained a decree of the Superior <br />Court of the State of California. in and for the County of San Mateo on <br />September 17, 1945 in action to establish and quiet the title of said City <br />to the real property hereinafter described, and a certified copy of said <br />judgment was thereafter recorded in the office of the Recorder of San Mateo <br />County, State of California; and <br />WHEREAS, thereafter, the real property hereinafter described was sold <br />for delinquent taxes by Ralph MacArthur as County Tax Collector of said <br />County and State, and this City has received its prorate, of the proceeds of <br />such sale; and <br />WHEREAS, ROBERT L. ELTRINGHAM and FANNIE EL'TRINGHAM, his wife, pur- <br />chased said property at said tax sale and thereafter conveyed said property <br />to HELEN HAMLIN who has filed a suit in said Superior Court to'establish and <br />quiet title to said property, said action being numbered 40453 and this City <br />has no longer any title or interest in or to said property; <br />RESOLVED that the City of Redwood City execute a quitclaim deed to <br />said ROBERT L. ELTRINGHAM and FANNIE ELTRINGHAM of the real property herein- <br />above referred to, which is situated in the City of Redwood City, County of <br />San Mateo, State of California and particularly described as follows: <br />Lot numbered twenty-nine (29) in Block numbered one (1) as shown <br />on that certain map entieled "Map of Hooper and Cunningham Subdivision. A <br />part of Lot 28 and all of Lots 30 and 32 of the Wooster, Whitton and <br />Montgomery's Subdivision of a part of the Redwood Farm, Redwood City, <br />San Mateo Co. California", which map was filed in the office of the <br />County Recorder of San Mateo County on April 10, 1907 in Book "E° of <br />Original Maps at page 58 and copied into Book 4 of Maps at page 62. <br />FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk of this City be and they <br />are hereby authorized to execute such quitclaim deed for and on behalf of <br />this City. <br />The above and foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the Coun- <br />cil of the City of Redwood City at a regular meeting thereof held on the <br />6th day of May, 1946, by the following vote: <br />AYES, and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing reso- <br />lution: Councilmen: ARMSTRONG, BRITSCHGI, GRANGER, MCNULTY, SWIFT, WERDER, <br />and HILTON. <br />NOES, and against the passage and adoption of the foregoing resolution: <br />Councilmen: NONE <br />ABSENT: <br />ATTEST: <br />Councilmen: NONE <br />W.
