HILTON. <br />Mayor of the City of Redwood'City <br />City Manager Blom also advised that Mr. Mott, the planning engineer, had <br />recommended that a westerly entrance be provided into the new recreation <br />area. This would necessitate the acquiring of certain property. It was <br />the general consensus of the Council that it would be wise to have an en- <br />trance to the park at this location. Councilman Granger moved, seconded by <br />Councilman Swift, that the matter be carried on the agenda for further study. <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />A Mr. Borgia appeared before the Council requesting permission to install a <br />trailer camp within the city limits at a location commonly known as Buteherts <br />Field, property near the Southern Pacific Company Depot. The Council looked <br />with disfavor on this location and Councilman Britschgi moved, seconded by <br />Councilman Armstrong, that the permit be denied for a trailer camp at this <br />location. Motion passed unanimously. <br />City Attorney McCarthy read contract to be entered into with Hahn and Campbell, <br />planning engineers for the Mater Plan. Councilman Britschgi asked who was <br />to receive work already completed if the plan were voluntarily terminated. <br />City Attorney McCarthy advised he would provide for this in the contract be- <br />fore it is signed.
