1 <br />S <br />11 <br />J <br />J <br />0 <br />r�� <br />M <br />RESOLUTION <br />RESOLVED that this meeting of the City Council of,the City of Redwood <br />City adjourn in memory of Captain William Cook Foss, a resident of this <br />city who entered into the service of his country, who Trade the supreme <br />sacrifices in the defense thereof and in the preservation of our national <br />principles. <br />Be it further resolved that the Clerk of the Council forward to the <br />family of the late Captain Foss a copy of the resolution and that the <br />same be recorded in the official minutes of the meeting -of t'he City Council. <br />.. Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular <br />meeting thereof held on the 2nd day of July, 1945, by the following vote: <br />Ayes and in favor cf the passage and adoption of the foregoing resolution: <br />Councilmen: H. F. Anderson, C1 C. Armstrong, C. A. Britschgi, F. D. Granger, <br />G. V. McNulty and X. V. Hilton. <br />Noes and against the, passage and adoption of the foregoing resolution <br />Councilmen: None. <br />Absent: Councilman E. A. Fletcher. <br />W. W. Hilton <br />Mayor of the City of Redwood City <br />Attest: <br />Ralph S.
