• <br />11 <br />P <br />Councilman Fletcher moved, second by Councilman Anderson, affidavit of publLeation. <br />of ordinam a setting up Recreation Commission be filed. Motion passed unani- <br />mously., <br />Councilman Fletcher moved adoption of ordinance setting up Recreation Commission. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman Anderson and passed unanimously on roll <br />call. <br />Councilman Anderson moved, seconded by Councilman.Fleteher, affidavit of publication <br />of ordinance reclassifying Lots 9 and 10, Block 10 Redwood Villa Park.be filed. <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />Councilman Anderson moved adoption of ordinance reclassifying Lots 9 and 10, Block <br />1; Redwood Villa Park. The motion was seconded by Councilman McNulty. On <br />roll call ordinance was,unanimously adopted. <br />City Manager Mead advised that• -Cuddy Motor used car lot complied with the ordinance. <br />Councilman .Fletcher moved, seconded by Councilman McNulty,,that permit be <br />granted.. Motion passed unanimously. <br />Petition was received from residents of Beeeh,,Spring Streets and Bay Road to, have <br />curbing, sidewalks and street put in. Councilman Anderson moved, seconded by <br />Councilman Fletcher, that the.petition together with the previous request for <br />sidewalks on Jefferson Avenue be reported on by the City Engineer's office by <br />the next meeting and that the report be in such a condition that the. Council <br />can act on it at that time. Motion passed unanimously. <br />City Clerk Dodgeiresented resolution authorizing transfer of portion of unbudgeted <br />reserve in the amount of 0876.4.2 to cover departmental expenditures for the <br />fiscal year 1944_45, which Included. Municipal Building, light and heat, $15.40; <br />Animal Shelter, gas and electricity 013.29; Electrical Department, street <br />lighting, $760.32; Electrical Department, electricity, other $75.01; Sewer <br />Department, electricity; $9.40. Mr. Dodge explained that this was necessary <br />because of its being the 13th payment in the fiscal year. Councilman Armstrong <br />offered resolution and moved its adoption, seconded by Councilman rletcher. <br />On roll call, resolution was unanimously adopted. <br />City Attorney McCarthy presented resolution correcting the minutes of the meeting <br />of June 4, 1945, which had inadvertently omitted showing the adoption of a <br />motion to"file.affidavit of publication of Ordinance No. 521 and adoption of <br />said ordinance. Councilman Anderson offered the resolution correcting the <br />minutes of the city Council, seconded by Councilman McNulty. On roll "call, <br />resolution was unanimously adopted. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 219 <br />CORRECTING THE MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />WHEREAS, the minutes of the meeting of the City Council.of the City <br />of Redwood City held on June 4, 1945 inadvertently omit to show the adoption <br />of a motion to order filed the Affidavit of Publication of Ordinance No. 521, <br />and the adoption of said ordinance; and <br />WHEREAS, this omission in the minutes of said meeting has recently <br />been called to the attention of this Council; <br />75 <br />
