Fletcher <br />RESOLUTION <br />RESOLVED that this meeting of the City Council of the City of Redwood <br />City adjourn in memory of PFC John Gonzales a resident of this city who <br />entered into the service of his country, who made the supreme sacrifices <br />in the defense thereof and in the preservation of our national principles. <br />Be it further resolved that the Clerk of the Council forward to the <br />family of the late Pvt. Gonzales a copy of the resolution and that the <br />same be recorded in the official minutes of the meeting of the City Council. <br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a <br />regular meeting thereof held on the 20th day August, 1945, by the following <br />vote: <br />Ayes and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing <br />resolution: <br />Councilmen: H. F. Anderson, C. C. Armstrong, C. A. Britschgi, <br />F. D. Granger, G. W. McNulty and W. W. Hilton. <br />Noes and against the passage and adoption of the -foregoing resolution: <br />Councilmen: None <br />Absent: E. A. Fletcher <br />RESOLUTION <br />RESOLVED that this meeting of the City Council of -the City of Redwood <br />City adjourn in memory of T/5 Robert Lewis Carpenter, a resident of this <br />city who entered into the service of this country, who made the supreme <br />sacrifices in the defense thereof and in the preservation of our national <br />principles. <br />Be it further resolved that the Clerk of the Council forward to the <br />family of the late Robert Carpenter a copy of the resolution and that the <br />same be recorded in the official minutes of the meeting of the City Council. <br />Passed and adopted oy the Council of the City of Redwood City at a <br />regular meeting thereof held on the 20th day of August, 1945, by the <br />following vote: <br />Councilmen: H.
