HILTON <br />Mayor of the City of Redwood City <br />COUNCILI4AN GRANGER INQUIRED IF A REPORT HAD BEEN HAD FROM THE PLANNING COMMISSION IN <br />REGARD TO RENUMBERING BREWSTER AVENUE, ETC. east of the highway. Building Inspector <br />Duncan advised that he had submitted the numbers to the Planning Commission but that <br />they had not as yet been approved. Councilman Granger moved that the City Clerk be <br />6 asked to write the Planning Commission and ask if they are ready to give a report <br />on this matter at the next meeting, seconded by Councilman Swift. Motion passed <br />unanimously. <br />COUNCILMAN SWIFT ASKED THE PROGRESS BEING MADE ON REPAIRING STREETS. City Manager Blom <br />advised that a street foreman had been hired and that this work is being begun. He <br />now has a crew of three or four men to work on this. Councilman Granger questioned <br />i a newspaper story of fifteen men being hired for the street crew. City Manager Blom <br />advised that this number would include the men employed for rubbish pick-ups, street <br />cleaning, etc. and that it did not mean that fifteen men would be hired for working <br />on the streets. <br />CITY ATTORNEY CURRIE PRESENTED RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DEEDS TO LOTS 12, 13 and 14, Block <br />605,, Highlands of Emerald Lake, Councilman Britschgi offered resolution and moved <br />its adoption, seconded by Councilman Werder. On roll call, resolution was unani- <br />mously adopted with Councilman Armstrong absent. <br />RESOLUTION No. 470 <br />ACCEPTING DEED FROM LENOLT SECURITIES CORPORATION <br />RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City that the deed from <br />Lenolt Securities Corporation, a corporation, to the City of Redwood City, dated <br />April 24, 1947, be accepted by and on behalf of said City, said deed being for <br />Lots 12, 13, and 14, Block 605, Highlands of Emerald Lake, San Mateo County, <br />California. <br />The above and foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted by the City <br />Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular meeting thereof held on the 5th <br />day of Mgy, 1947, by the following vote: <br />.AYES, and in -favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing Resolution: <br />Councilmen: BRITSCHGI, GRANGER, McNULTY, SWIFT, WERDER and Mayor HILTON. <br />NOES, <br />ABSENT, <br />ATTEST: <br />Councilmen: NONE <br />Councilmen: ARMSTRONG <br />RALPH S.
