Motion passed unanimously.. <br />Mayor Hilton entered the meeting andMayor pro tem Granger retired from the chair. <br />0014MUNICATION WAS RECEIVED FROM THE PLANNING COMMISSION recommending approval,of the <br />application.of the First Church of Christ Scientist to exceed the normal lot coverage <br />subject to,the conditions that the total lot coverage not exceed 45%, that side and <br />rear setback lines be,maintained as shown on the plot plan and that elevations con- <br />form to those presented to the Commission. Councilman Britschgi moved, seconded by <br />Councilman Granger, that the recommendation of the Planning Commission pe approved. <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />COMMUNICATION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION WAS RECEIVED advising of newly elected officers <br />for the coming year and also stating'that the salary of the secretary was to be <br />continued at $60 per month. 'The communication was ordered filed. <br />COMMUNICATION WAS RECEIVED FROM THE PLANNING COMMISSION recommending approval of the <br />application of E. L. Aldrich to resubdivide a -portion of Lot 15, Wooster. -Whitton <br />and Montgomery Subdivision. Councilman Britschgi moved, seconded by_Councilman <br />Werder, that the recommendation of the Planning Commission be approved. Motion <br />passed unanimously. <br />COMMUNICATION WAS RECEIVED FROM THE PLANNING COMMISSION recommending approval of the <br />application of Mr. A. Green to resubdivide Lot 5, Block G, Woodside Acrea. Coun- <br />oilman Werder moved, seconded by Councilman Britschgi, that the recommendation of <br />the Planning Commission be approved. Motion passed unanimously. <br />COM14UNICATION WAS RECEIVED FROM THE PLANNING COMMISSION recommending approval of the <br />application of R. E. Perdue to resubdivide Lots Sb., 81, 62, 93, 94, Block 4, Red- <br />wood Oaks into three lots, two of which shall be 50' x 100' and one which shall be <br />45' x 1001. Councilman Britschgi moved, seconded by Councilman Holmquist, that <br />the recommendation of the_Planning Commission be approved. Motion passed unani- <br />mously. <br />COMMUNICATION WAS RECEIVED FROM THE PLANNING COMMISSION advising that the regular meet- <br />ing night of the Commission had been changed from the second Tuesday of each month <br />to the second Monday of each month. Communication was ordered filed. <br />COUNCILMAN BRITSCHGI REPORTED THAT A MEETING had been held in regard to the Perry Street <br />Parking Lot and that a report would be ready by the next meeting. The matter <br />was placed on the agenda. <br />CITY COLLECTOR PERRIN REPORTED that Weltner Motor Company had concelled order for pre- <br />cut steel frame building due to order not being filled for ninety days and that <br />1. <br />they planned to start construction on another type of building immediately. The <br />matter was carried on the agenda. <br />V <br />COUNCILMAN GRANGER REPORTED THAT HE HAD TRAVELED different routes in one of the taxicabs <br />and that an overall result was that meters would be cheaper for the patrons than <br />the zone schedule. There was some discussion as to a decision being reached by <br />the taxicab companies as to whether there should be a minimum charge of 30 cents <br />or 50 cents as now provided in the ordinance. The representatives of the taxicab <br />companies were to meet with the City Manager to determine their recommendation of <br />the rates to be charged. <br />
