There were none and Councilman Granger <br />offered resolution and moved its adoption adopting the Master Plan as a general <br />guidance, seconded by Councilman Werder. On roll call, resolution was unanimously CCC <br />adopted. <br />R E S 0 L U T ION No.498 <br />ADOPTING AND APPROVING MASTER PLAN OF REDWOOD CITY AS GENERAL GUIDE <br />WHEREAS, on May 24, 194b, a contract was entered into between the CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY and HAHN, CAMPBELL and ASSOCIATES, Planning Consultants, for the <br />preparation of a Master Plan for Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS said firm did, pursuant to said contract, prepare a Master Plan for <br />the City of Redwood City which contained the following units: <br />1. Public and Quasi -Public Facilities <br />2. Zoning Plan <br />3. Major Street and Highway Plan <br />Off -Street Parking Plan <br />5. Park and Recreation Plan <br />6. Public Works Plan <br />7. Civic Objectives <br />�.. Review of City Legislation <br />and • <br />WHEREAS said Master Plan has been finally completed by said firm; and <br />WHEREAS the Planning Commission of the City of Redwood City did adopt and <br />approve said Master Plan, after holding a public hearing thereon, notice of the <br />time and place of which was given according to law; and <br />WHEREAS a certified copy of the Master Plan as adopted by the Planning Com- <br />mission was forwarded to the City Council of the City of Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS a public hearing was held by the City Council of the City of•Redwood <br />City on the 4th day of August, 19470 at 9:00 o'clock P.
