Councilman Granger moved, seconded by Councilman Werder, <br />that the City Manager be instructed to advise the owner of the restaurant <br />tnat the matter has come before the attention of the Council and that if <br />there are any more serious disturbances the restaurant license will be re- <br />voked. Motion passed unanimously. <br />City Manager Blom advised he had reviewed the recommendation of Hahn and Campbell <br />and recommended some modifications of the original plan so far as the loca- <br />tion of the meters are concerned and the type of meter to be used. He pre- <br />sented a map showing the revised plan. Councilman Werder moved, seconded by <br />Councilman McNulty, that the City Manager and City Engineer be instructed to <br />interview salesmen from various meter companies and bring in a report at the <br />next meeting of the Council as to their choice of meters. Motion passed <br />unanimously. The City'Attorney was also instructed to bring in a draft of <br />an ordinance providing for parking meters. <br />City Manager Blom advised that he had provided each member of the Council with a <br />copy of the revised salary ordinance. City Attorney McCarthy expressed the <br />opinion that it would be advisable to provide that the ordinance be made <br />effective December 1, 1946, and that the allowance for October and November <br />be made payable in December as part of that month's salary. Councilman <br />Granger moved, seconded by Councilman Werder, introduction of the revised <br />salary ordinance. Under the question, it was also pointed out by the City <br />Attorney that in order to have the ordinance effective December let, it <br />would be necessary to have a special meeting of the Council before the end <br />of the month. The motion passed unanimously. <br />Councilman Werder offered introduction of ordinance rezoning Block 1, Sweeney <br />Addition, seconded by Councilman Granger. Motion passed unanimously. <br />City Clerk Dodge read letter from the Planning Commission recommending zoning in <br />Redwood Terrace No. 1 and 2. City Attorney McCarthy presented ordinance <br />establishing zoning in these subdivisions. Councilman McNulty introduced <br />ordinance establishing zoning in Redwood Terrace No. 1 and 2, seconded by <br />Councilman Granger. Motion passed unanimously. <br />25 <br />
