She asked additional time before lower floor occupied by restaurant,.
(■ bar and studio, be vacated. In answer to Councilman Britsehgils inquiry as to how
■J long before the ground floor would be vacated, Mrs. Graves thought six months would
be sufficient. City Otorney advised that the Council would maintain jurisdiction
if matter were continued on the agenda at specified intervals. Health Department
.j representative Royal Hodge advised that he could not pass on an extension of time for
the bar and restaurant, stating that the building was in so poor condition that the
restaurant and bar could not meet even the minimum requirements. Councilman Werder
was of the opinion that Council should back up the Health Department and that restau-
rant and bar should be closed immediately. Cou4cllman Werder moved, seconded by
Councilman Swift, that.restaurant license be recinded at once, and that the State
Board of Equalization be notified of the action. Motion carried unanimously.
ABATEMENT PROCEEDINGS HYNDING PROPERTY, 1032-1036 and 1038 Main Street, Mr. Andrew Hynding
