w....J .Wn x. <br />30 ® shall have authority to enter the safe deposit box of said City at said BANK OF <br />AMERICA NATIONAL TRUST AND SAVINGS ASSOCIATION, Redwood City Branch. <br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular <br />meeting thereof held on the 3rd,of November, 1947, by the following vote: <br />AYES, and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing Resolution: <br />Councilmen: BRITSCHGI, GRANGER, HOLMQUIST, McNULTY, WERDER and Mayor HILTON. <br />NOES and against the passage and adoption of the foregoing Resolution: Coun- <br />cilmen: NONE <br />ABSENT: Councilmen: A. M. <br />ON ROLL CALL the following were present: Councilman Carl A. Britschgi, Floyd D. Granger, <br />H. E. Holmquist, William E. Werder, Arthur V. Swift, City Clerk R. S. Dodge. Mayor <br />W. W. Hilton absent. Also present were: City ManagerE. A. Rolison, City Engineer <br />Glenn M. Jain, Building Inspector L. M. Duncan, Fire Chief J. L. Lodi, Auditor J. J. <br />City Attorney C. B. Currie, City Collector Paul Perrin, Assistant Engineer H. L. <br />Winter, Assistant Building Inspector Stephen Kreiss, Street Superintendent R. E. <br />Pontow, Police Sgt. S. Douglass. <br />DUE TO THE ABSENCE OF MAYOR HILTON, Councilman Granger was elected Mayor pro -tem on motion <br />of Councilman Werder, seconded by Councilman McNulty, and carried. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Approved as mailed on motion of Councilman Werder, seconded by <br />Councilman Britschgi, and carried. <br />COMMUNICATION RECEIVED FROM PACIFIC TELEPHONE AND TELEGRAPH COMPANY, requesting permission <br />.1 <br />Q <br />I <br />for the construction of a temporary wood frame building on the front portion of their <br />property located on the northerly corner of El,Camino Real and Wilson Street. The <br />structure to be one story in height and 20 x 30 feet in size. The structure is <br />necessary for temporary offices and storage facilities for the installation forces who f' <br />are installing telephone equipment in the new central office of the telephone company, it <br />and will be removed not later than August 1i, 1948.
