<br />within the assessment district, bearing theii^ signatures, a description of
<br />their property, and a.statement of the nature of this interest therein; and
<br />WHEREAS all persons interested have been given an opportunity to be and
<br />were •fully heard, and said Council has duly considered any and all objections
<br />and protests made, and the said proposed improvements, and the public con-
<br />venience and necessity for making same, and the acquisition of said property;
<br />NOW, THEREFOR, IT IS FOUND, DETERMINED AND ORDERED as follows;
<br />1. That the public convenience and necessity require the improvements
<br />and the acquisition of property described in said Resolution of Preliminary
<br />Determination.
<br />2. That any and all objections and -protests made pursuant to said
<br />Resolution of Prliminary Determination be and the same are hereby overruled
<br />and denied.
<br />3. That the improvements and acquisition of property described in said
<br />Resolution be made under and pursuant to the.provisions of the Redwood Gity
<br />Ordinance No. 333, as amended, and that the Special Assessment Investigation,
<br />Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931 shall not apply to said proceed-
<br />ings.

<br />adopted by the City Council of the City of Redwood City, California, at a
<br />regular meeting thereof held on the 4th day of November, 1946, by the follow-

<br />Councilman Britschgi moved, seconded by Councilman Granger, adoption of resolution
<br />of intention to make improvements in parking area. On roll call, resolution
<br />was unanimously adopted with Councilmen Armstrong and Werder absent.

<br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION 1946-4; ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY FOR AND ESTAB=
<br />LISHMENT OF AN OFF-STREET VEHICLE PARKING AREA AND DISTRICT.
<br />RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redwood City, California;
<br />SECTION 1. That in its opinion public interest and convenience require
<br />the following works, utility and improvements to provide a public service,
<br />to -wit: an off-street vehicle parking area to be acquired, constructed and
<br />maintained in the property hereinafter described, in an along Perry Street,
<br />a public street in said City.
<br />SECTION 2. That the area to be acquired for said off-street vehicle
<br />parking area and district is situated in the City of Redwood City, County of
<br />San Mateo, State of California, and particularly described as follows:
<br />That certain real property situated in the City of Redwood City, County
<br />of San Mateo, State of California, particularly described as follows:
<br />BEGINNING at a point on the southwesterly line of that certain
<br />parcel designated Lot "A" on that certain map entitled "Perry's Sub-
<br />division of Portions of Lots 13, 14, & 15, Mezesville Villa Lots" filed
<br />August 5, 1924 in Volume 11 of Maps at pages 67 and 68, Official Records
<br />of -San -Mateo County, California; said point of beginning being distant
<br />South 430 00' East 122.72 feet along said southwesterly line from'the,
<br />most westerly corner of said Lot."A"; and running thence North 370 39,
<br />East 142.88 feet to a point on the southwesterly line of Perry Street
<br />as that street is shown on the official map of Redwood City; thence
<br />along said southwesterly line, South 510 131 East 171.24 feet and South
<br />520 211 East 3.79 feet; thence South 370 391 West 168.33 feet to a point
