City- 119 <br />Manager Rolison thought some of the expense could be,curtailed by using weed killer. <br />FRIENDLY ACRES, A PETITION IN REGARDS TO POSSIBLE WITHDRAWAL FROM THE CITY LIMITS. City <br />Attorney Currie reported he had discussed this matter with the attorney who pre- <br />sented the petitions, and did not think they were in order and asked him to•support <br />the petitions with any authority he could find. Councilman Morgan moved this be <br />carried on the agenda for two weeks, City Attorney Currie to contact the attorney <br />further on this, seconded by Councilman Granger, and carried. <br />PROPOSED REZONING OF WOODSIDE ROAD between -Hess Road and Virginia Avenue. Planning Com- <br />mission adopted a resolution recommending amendment to Section 4, Ordinance 600. <br />Property to be rezoned from R-1 and R-2 districts excluding present 0-1 districts <br />for a depth of 267 feet on either side of said Woodside Road. Councilman Granger <br />moved introduction of amendment, date to be set fro public hearing, seconded by <br />Councilman Morgan, and carried. <br />ORDINANCE INTRODUCED AMENDING SECTION 15.1 of Ordinance 600 on motion of Councilman Morgan, <br />seconded by Councilman Granger, and carried. Subsection was added allowing crop <br />and tree farming in" any R District, parking lots for automobiles in R Districts <br />adjacent to C or M District, a second 1 -family dwelling where one family dwelling <br />located on back 1/2 lot, providing use permits are secured. Also no circus, etc., <br />shall be established without obtaining a use permit. <br />APPOINTMENT TO PERSONNEL BOARD. Councilman Morgan moved this be carried on the agenda, <br />seconded by Councilman Spillers, and carried. <br />AMENDMENT TO SALARY ORDINANCE ADDING SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT OPERATOR AND ASSISTANT SEWAGE, <br />TREATMENT PLANT OPERATOR. Councilman Granger moved that affidavit of publication be <br />filed, seconded by Councilman Spillers, and carried. <br />ORDINANCE No. 607. AMENDMENT TO SALARY ORDINANCE ADDING SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT OPERATOR <br />AND ASSISTANT SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT OPERATOR. Councilman Granger offered introduc- <br />tion and moved adoption of amendment, seconded by Councilman Morgan and carried on <br />roll call, Councilman Swift and Mayor Werder noted absent. <br />ANNEXATION FRANK PROPERTY; portion of Horgan Ranch, Woodside Road. Councilman Britschgi <br />moved that affidavit of publication be filed, seconded•'by Councilman Spillers, and <br />carried. Property owners had signed agreement to pay their share of bonded in- <br />debtedness. <br />ORDINANCE No. 608. ANNEXATION FRNK PROPERTY. Councilman'Granger offered introduction <br />and moved adoption of ordinance, seconded by Councilman Morgan, and carried on roll <br />call. Councilman Swift and Mayor Warder noted absent. Councilman Spillers moved <br />this be carried on agenda for two weeks, City Attorney Currie to prepare resolution <br />li <br />to record agreement signed by property owners, in the event.property should be dis- <br />posed of, seconded by Councilman Granger, and carried. <br />FRED J. EARLY PROGRESS ESTIMATE, SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT, $36,523.43 and L. C. Smith <br />(� Progress estimate to be submitted were approved on motion of Councilman Granger, with <br />City Engineer Jain's approval of L. C. Smith's estimate when money available, seo- <br />onded by Councilman Morgan. Motion carried. <br />A. VALENTI, EATON AVENUE, SEWER CONNECTION. City Attorney Currie reported that Mr. <br />Davenroy was to contact Mr. Valenti in regard to payment for sewer; Mr. Valenti now <br />Ii had sewer connection. <br />I� <br />�!
