<br />RESOLVED that pursuant to the request of H. J. LYNCH, Business Manager of
<br />Sequoia Union High School in a letter dated November 4, 1948, a stop sign is auth-
<br />orized to be installed on that road leading from Sequoia Union High School where
<br />property hereinafter described, which was sold for taxes and delinquent improvement
<br />said road intersects with James Avenue.

<br />the manner hereinafter stated; and

<br />AUTHORIZING SALE OF PROPERTY ACQUIRED BY THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY FOR
<br />DELINQUENT TAXES AND ASSESSMENTS FOR PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AND DIRECTING
<br />PUBLICATION OF NOTICE OF SALE.
<br />WHEREAS the City of Redwood City has heretofore become the owner of the real
<br />property hereinafter described, which was sold for taxes and delinquent improvement
<br />assessments, and deeds conveying all the said real property to said City have been
<br />recorded, and this City Council deems it advisable that said property be sold in
<br />the manner hereinafter stated; and

<br />WHEREAS said City Council has determined that the minimum for which said
<br />parcel of land shall be sold is the amount set opposite the description of -said

<br />parcel hereinafter described;
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City that
<br />the real property hereinafter described be sold for at least the minimum amount set
<br />opposite the description of said parcel; that said property be sold at private sale
<br />by the City Collector on and after the 4th day of March, 1949,- in the office of the
<br />City Collector in the City Hall, in this City, upon written bids or offers, each
<br />of which shall be accompanied by a deposit of at least ten per cent (10%) of the
