Fire Chief Lodi recommended purchase of this piece <br />of equipment provided it be kept in serviceable condition at all times. He explained <br />the Fire Department had one modern resuscitator and two inhalators on hand, but that <br />i . <br />he.believed an additional modern resuscitator would be an additional safeguard and <br />might save a life. After discussion as to propriety in furnishing this equipmentw <br />to a private ambulance operator, and a discussion as to who would pay the maintenance t <br />cost and cost of exygen, etc., Council Spillers moved, seconded by Councilman Morgan, r <br />, <br />that the equipment be purchased, transfer of necessary funds to be made by resolution <br />after goods were received and bill ready for payment. Motion carried with Councilman FWis <br />Granger voting No. It was suggested that the new equipment be kept by the Fire j <br />Department, and the one now on hand be turned over to the Ambulance Company. <br />BILLING MACHINE FOR MATER DEPARTMENT.
