City Engineer Jain recom- <br />mended that the resolution be passed accepting easement offered by the Land Develop- <br />ment Company along the street frontage of all lots except Lot 7, Block 1, and por- <br />tion of Lot 13 in Block 2, contiguous to Redwood Avenue,' in order to avoid delay <br />! in construction of gas and sewer mains and tearing up street practically completed <br />i <br />by L. C. Smith, Contractor. A letter offering easement "was read by the Pacific <br />Title Insurance Company, dated February 25th. Councilman Spillers offered resalu- <br />tion and moved adoption, seconded by Councilman Brtischgi, and carried on roll call. <br />RESOLUTION No. 682. <br />f <br />ACCEPTING PUBLIC UTILITY AND TREE PLANTING EASEMENT <br />RESOLVED, that a certain deed, dated February 25th, 1949, offered by the <br />CALIFORNIA PACIFIC TITLE INSURANCE COMPANY and the PENINSULA TITLE GUARANTY COMPANY, <br />which deed grants to the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, without cost to said City, a five <br />(5) foot easement for public utility and tree planting purposes in certain land <br />known as REDWOOD TERRACE No. 1, be, and it hereby is, accepted by and on behalf of <br />the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY. <br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular <br />meeting thereof held on the 7th day of March, 1949, by the following vote: <br />AYES, and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing resolution: <br />Councilmen: BRITSCHGI, GRANGER, HOLMQUIST, MORGAN, SPILLERS, SWIFT, and Mayor <br />WERDER. <br />NOES, Councilmen: NONE <br />ABSENT, Councilmen: NONE. <br />{.
