<br />cate up to date. They further recommended that the resolution be amended to add
<br />all full time recreation personnel. Councilman Morgan offered a resolution and
<br />moved adoption, seconded by Councilman Spillers, and carried on roll call.

<br />AMENDING "RULES FOR PERSONNEL ADMINISTRATION11
<br />RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redwood City that the "Rules for

<br />Personnel Administration" as amended to Ordinance No. adopted p pursuant 445, estab-
<br />lishing a Personnel System for said City, be•and they are hereby amended, effective
<br />upon the adoption of this resolution, pursuant to recommendation of the City Manager,
<br />in the following respects:
<br />1. Rule X. Section 4, and Rule XI, Section 7, of said rules are hereby amended
<br />by inserting therein, immediately'after every place the words "fireman and police
<br />officer" appear, the words "or full time recreation employee".
<br />2. All full time recreation employees noir employed by the City of Redwood City
<br />shall have three (3) months from and after the date of this resolution to comply with
<br />the requirements contained in Rule XI, Section 7 of said rules.
<br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular
<br />meeting thereof held on the 4th day of April, 1949, by the following vote:

<br />ABATEMENT - POOLE, PERRY, and BEEGER TANNERY. Councilman Britschgi moved that this be

<br />Councilman Spillers. Councilman Holmquist reported that Mr. Beeger had sold a boiler
<br />and it was necessary to have a permit from the State in order to move and before

<br />HAWES PARK SPRINKLER SYSTEM. Park and Recreation Commission requested that they be per-
<br />mitted to use the money to finish lighting and fencing projects which had been set
<br />i
<br />aside for the sprinkler system. The 1948-49 budget provided $2,857.75 in the Park
<br />Capital Outlay for the sprinkler system and turfing of Hawes Park field No. 1, but
<br />due to excessive cost of pipe and lack of man power, it seemed wise to defer this
