Motion carried on roll call. <br />1 <br />R E S 0 LUT ION No. 614 <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING ALLOTMENT FROM THE STATE FOR PLANS <br />Municipal Sewage Disposal Project <br />WHEREAS, The State of California under Chaper 47, Statutes of 1944 (4th Extra <br />Session), has appropriated funds for allotment by the Director of Finance to provide <br />financial assistance to Local Agencies defined therein as counties, cities or cities <br />and counties, for the purpose of defraying not to exceed one-half the cost of pre- <br />paring engineering field surveys, engineering or architectural designs, and working <br />and detailed drawings and specifications (hereinafter called "Plans") required for <br />postwar public works projects described as "specific projects" in said Act; and <br />WHEREAS, The City of Redwood City, hereinafter designated as "Local Agency", <br />desires to apply to the Director of Finance and/or the State Allocation Board, as <br />the case may be, for an allotment of the State's share of the estimated cost of pre- <br />paring the completed plans hereinafter mentioned and there has been prepared and <br />presented to this legislative body for consideration an application for such purpose; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Local Agency has provided, or will make available upon approval of the <br />aforesaid application to the Director of Finance and/or the State Allocation Board, <br />as the case may be, requesting allotment of Nine Thousand Nine Hundred Twenty-One <br />and 45/100 Dollars (9,921.45)9 being not more than one-half the cost of preparing <br />said completed plans, or for such amount as may be approved by the Director of <br />Finance and/or the State Allocation Board (said allotment to be used for the pur- <br />pose of defraying the cost of preparing said completed plans required), for a <br />specific project to be undertaken by local agency and described as "Municipal r" <br />Sewage Disposal Project"; <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the estimated cost of preparing such plans is <br />Nineteen Thousand Eight Hundred Forty-Two and 90/100 Dollars ($19,842.90) and that <br />local agency has made provision for paying one-half or more of the cost of preparing 3 <br />such plans; ! <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that for the purposes of this application, E.
