<br />June 29, 1949, 4:40 P. M.
<br />ON ROLL CALL the following were present: Councilmen: Carl A. Britschgi, Floyd D. Granger,
<br />H. E. Holmgzist, R. V. Spillers, A. V. Swift, Mayor W. M. Werder and City Clerk R. S.
<br />Dodge. Also present were: City Manager E...A. Rolison, Administrative Assistant R. D.
<br />Miller. Councilman Morgan noted absent.
<br />MAYOR 117ERDER ANNOUNCED THE PURPOSE OF THE SPECIAL MEETING was for the adoption of 'tenta-
<br />tive 1949-50 Budget. Councilman Britschgi moved adoption, seconded by Councilman
<br />Holmquist. Motion carried.
<br />COUNCILMAN HOUIW IST MOVED adjournment, seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried.

<br />Councilman Morgan moved approval of payment from Special Recreation Fund Account, seconded by Councilman
<br />Granger and carried.
<br />TRANSFER OF $267 FROM RECREATION SALARY ACCOUNT TO RECREATION HJPPLIES & SERVICES WAS RECOMMENDED by Alfred
<br />Morton, Recreation Director for services rendered. Originally funds were set up in Salary Account
<br />but to avoid compensation insurance, retirement, etc., payment should be made to Peninsula Umpires
<br />Association. Councilman Spillers offered resolution and moved adoption, seconded by Councilman
<br />Swift and carried on roll call. Cou#cilman Britschgi noted absent.

<br />AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OF FUNDS TO ACCOUNT NO. 419-2
<br />RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Redwood City that the sum of $267.00 be and
<br />it hereby is ordered transferred from Recreation Department - Salaries Account 419-1 to Recreation
<br />Department - Supplies & Services Account 419.2.
<br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular meeting thereof
<br />held on the 5th day of July, 1949, by the following vote:
<br />AYES, and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing resolution: Councilmen:
<br />Brittchgi, Granger, Holmquist, Morgan, Spillers, Swift and Werder.
