Councilmar,6pillers and Granger noted absent. <br />RESOLUTION N0. 757 <br />RESOLUTION FIXING MINIMUM WAGE SCALE VIRGINIA AVENUE <br />WHEREAS the Cit Y� ngineer of the City ofRedwood City has ascertained the general prevailing <br />rate of per diem wages in the locality in which said public work is proposed to be performed for <br />work of a similar character to that described in Resolution of Intention No.746,adopted July 18, <br />1949 by the City Council of the City of RedwoodCity; and <br />WHEREAS said r ate of per diem wages is set forth and contained in the specifications for said <br />project, copies of which are on file in the office of said City Engineer and also in the office of <br />the City Clerk of said city;and <br />WHEREAS the City Council of Redwood City has duly considered said scale and finds the same to <br />be correct in al] articulars; <br />NON, THERE//FORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the CityCouncil of the City of Redwood City as follows: <br />1. That said wage scale as set forth in the specifications for the above-mentioned project is <br />hereby adopted as the prevailing rate of per diem wages for work of a similar character to that above <br />described in the locality in which said public work is proposed to be performed. <br />2.
