D <br />G <br />RES 0 L U T 1 0 N N0. 759 <br />RESOLUTION FIXING MINIMUM WAGE SCALE EAGLE HILL ALLEYS <br />281 <br />WHEREAS the City Engineer of the City of Redwood_City has ascertained the general prevailing <br />rate of per diem wages in the locality in which said public works proposed to be performed for work <br />of a similar character to that described in Resolution of Inten ion No.7491 adopted July 18, 1949 by <br />the City Council of the City of Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS said rate of per diem wages is set forth and contained in the specifications for said <br />project, copies of which are on file in the office of said .City Engineer and also in the 'office of <br />said City Engineer and also in the office of the City Clerk of said City; and <br />WHEREAS the City Council of Redwood City has duly considered said scale and finds the same to <br />be correct in all particulars;: <br />NOi"!, THEREFORK� BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redwood City as follows: <br />1. That said wage scale as set forth in the specifications for the above-mentioned project is <br />hereby adopted as the prevailing rate of per diem wages for work of a similar character to that above <br />described in the locality in which said public work is proposed to be performed. <br />2.- That not less than said general prevailing rate of per diem wages shall be paid for any <br />work proposed to be performed under said Resolution of Intention No -749. <br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular meeting thereof, <br />held on'the 15th day of `,August, 1949, by the following vote: <br />AYES, and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing resolution: Councilmen: <br />BRITSCHGI, HOLMQUIST, MORGAN,SWIFT an& WERDER. <br />NOES, Councilmen: NONE.' <br />ABSENT, Councilmen: GRANGER, SPILLERS. <br />ATTEST: <br />RALPH S. Affidavits of posting, publication and mailing of notices were ordered <br />filed on motion of Councilman Britschgi, seconded by Councilman Holmquist and carried. <br />STANLEY-WESTGATE'IMPROVEMENTS. PUBLIC HEARING ON RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CONSTRUCT CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS. <br />Mr. E.Fau appeared to inquire when the work would be completed providing the resolution would be <br />adopted. It was expected that the work *ould be started no later than the middle of September and <br />weather permitting would be completed by the end of November. <br />RESOLUTION 760. STANELYWESTGATE. Councilman Morgan offered resolution ordering work done and calling for <br />bids and moved adoption, seconded by Councilman Britschgi and carried on roll call. Councilmen Granger <br />and Spillers noted absent. <br />P.ES0LUT10N N0. 760 <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENTS AND CALLING FOR BIDS STANLEYWESTGAGE <br />WHEREAS the Council of the City of Redwood City did, on the 18th day of July, 1949, pass and adopt <br />Resolution.of Intention No. 743 (Stanley ITestgate) to order the hereinafter described work to be done <br />and improvements to be made in said City of Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS notices of the passage of said Resolution of Intention No -743, headed °NOTICE OF ID - <br />PROVEMENT"", were duly and regularly posted along the line of said contemplated work and improvements <br />and in front of all the property liable to be assessed therefor„ and on all of the streets in the dis- <br />trict to be assessed therefory'in the time, form, manner and number as required by law, as appeard <br />
