RES 0LUTI ON N0. 765 RESOLUTION OF PRELIMINARY DETERMINATION LENOLT j RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Redwood City, that it does hereby preliminarily determine that the public convenience and necessity require, and.that it intends to order,the follow- ing work to be done and improvements to be made in and for said City, to wit: t. (a) The improvement of Stafford Street by constructing and installing therein five-foot concrete it sidewalks on the northerly side thereof from the northwesterly line of Block 1, "Lenolt," to the center of Block 7, "Lenolt", from the northwesterly line of Block 10, "Lenolt", to the southeasterly line of Block 10, "Lenolt", from the northwesterly line of Block 13, "Lenolt", to the center of Block 13, "Lenolt", and the construction of concrete driveway approaches to serve existing buildings and res- jI idences . I(b) The improvement or Arguello Street byconstructing and installing therein two-inch asphaltic concrete paving, with six-inch crusher run rock base, 34 feet in width,and concrete curbs and gutters and five-foot concrete sidewalks on both sides thereof, from the intersection of Arguello Street with, the northwesterly line of "Lenolt"' to the intersection of Arguello. Street -with the southeasterly line of Whipple Avenue, except that where street paving exists,only sufficient asphaltic concrete paving shall be installed to bring said street to finished grade; by constructing therein 12 -inch reinforced concrete pipe siphons complete with reinforced concrete catch basin at each end thereof at the fol- lowing locations: (1) One near intersection of Arguello and D Street (2) One near intersection of Arguello and B Street (3) Two near intersection of Arguello and A Street; and the construction of concrete driveway approaches to serve existing buildings and residences. (c) The improvement of Lenolt Street by constructing and installing therein 2" asphaltic con- crete paving with 6" crusher run rock base, 34 feet in width, and concrete curbs and gutters and IS 5 -foot concrete sidewalks on both sides thereof, from the northwesterly line of "Lenolt" to the in- tersection of Lenolt Street with Whipple Avenue, except that where street paving exists, only suffic- ient asphaltic concrete paving shall be installed 'bo bring said street to finished grade; by construc- ting therein a 12" reinforced concrete pipe siphon complete with reinforced concrete catch basin at eat end thereof, across ''enolt Street near its intersection with D Street,and an 18" reinforced concrete pipe siphon complete with reinforced concrete catch basin at each end thereof, across Lenolt ' Street near its intersection with B Street; and the construction of concrete driveway approaches to serve existing buildings and residences. I (d) The improvement of D Street, by constructing and installing therein 211,asphaltic concrete I paving with 6" crusher run rock base, 34 feet in width, and concrete curbs and gutters on both sides thereof from the existing paving opposite Lot 7, Block 1 "Lenolt", to the intersection of D Street with the northeasterly line of "Lenolt", except that where street paving exists, only sufficient as- phaltic concrete paving shall be installed to bring said street to finished grade; the installation of 5 -foot concrete sidewalk from the intersection of D Street with Stafford.Street to the intersec- tion of D Street with the northeasterly line of "Lenolt"; the installation of a 12" reinforced con- crete pipe siphon across Arguello Street on the southeasterly side of D Street, with reinforced con -* j trete catch basin at each end thereof; the construction of concrete driveway approaches to serve exist - II ing buildings and residences. (e) The"improvement of C Street by consttucting and'installing therein 2" asphaltic -concrete pav- ing with 61, crusher run rock base 30 feet, in width, from the intersection of C Street with Stafford Street to the intersection of C Street with Arguello Street, and said paving to be 34 feet in width from the intersection of Arguello Street with C Street to the intersection of C Street with the northeasterly line of "Lenolt", except that where street paving exists, only sufficient asphaltic concrete paving shall be installed to bring said street to finisheA, grade; the installation of con - crete'curbs and gutters on both sides thereof, from a point opposite Lot 14, Block 4, "Lenolt", to the intersection" of C Street with the northeasterly line of "Lenolt"; the installation of 5 -foot concrete sidewalks on both sides thereof, from the intersection of C Street with Stafford Street to the intersection of C Street with the northeasterly line of "Lenolt"; the installation af.a 1211 re- inforced concrete pipe siphon with reinforced concrete catch basin at each end thereof, across Ar- guello Street, on the northwesterly side of C Street;the installation of an 18" reinforced concrete f pipe siphon with reinforced concrete catch basin at each end thereof, across Lenolt Street on the j northwesterly side of C Street;the construction of concrete driveway approaches to serve existing buildings and residences. (f) The improvement of B Street by constructing and installing therein 2" asphaltic concrete paving with 6" crusher run rock base, 30 feet in width, from the intersection of B Street with Stafford Street to the intersection of B Street with Arguello Street and said paving to be 34 feet in width '' from the intersection of B Street with Arguello Street to the intersection of B Street with the north- easterly line of "Lenolt", except that where street paving exists, only sufficient asphaltic concrete: # paving shall be installed to bring said street to finished grade; the installation of concrete curbs and gutters on both sides thereof, from a point opposite Lot 13, Block 7, "Lenolt", to the intersec-, tion of B Street with the northeasterly line of "Lenolt"; the installation of 5 -foot concrete'side- walks on both sides thereof, from the intersection of B Street with Stafford Street, to the"inter- section of B Street with the northeasterly line of +'Lenolt"; the construction of concrete driveway approaches to serve existing buildings and residences.
