<br />that where paving presently exists, only sufficient asphaltic concrete paving shall be installed to
<br />bring said street to finished grade; by constructing therein concrete curbs and gutters on both sides
<br />thereof, from a point opposite Lpt 2, Block 13, "Lenolt" to the intersection of A Street with the
<br />northeasterly line of "Lenolt"; by constructing therein 5 -foot concrete sidewalk along the northerly
<br />side thereof from a point opposite the westerly line of Lot 9, Block 10, "Lenolt", to the intersection
<br />of A Street with the northeasterly line of "Lenolt", and 5 -foot concrete sidewalk on the southerly
<br />side thereof, from the intersection of Stafford Street with A Street to the intersection of A Street
<br />with the northeasterly line of "Lenolt"; by constructing therein an 18"'reinforced concrete pipe siphon
<br />with a reinforced concrete catch basin at each end thereof across Lenolt Street on the southeasterly
<br />side of A Street; the construct -ion of concrete driveway approaches to serve existing buildings and
<br />residences.
<br />(h) The improvement of iihipple Avenue, by constructing and installing therein 2" asphaltic
<br />concrete paving with 6" crusher run rock base,56 feet in width, and concrete curbs and gutters on
<br />both sides thereof, from the intersection of Whipple Avenue with Arguello Street, to connect with
<br />existing paving on Whipple Avenue at a point opposite the northeasterly line of -Lot 15, Block 15, "Len -
<br />'6U, excluding therefrom the existing 22 feet of pavement;,by constructing therein 5 -foot concrete
<br />sidewalk on the northwesterly side thereof, from the intersection of Whipple Avenue with Arguello
<br />Street to the intersection of !Whipple Avenue with the northeasterly line of 'Lenolt", and 5 -foot con-
<br />crete sidewalk on the southeasterly side thereof from the intersection of Whipple Avenue and Stafford
<br />Street to a point opposite the northeasterly line of Lot 15, Block 15, "Lenolt", except where sidewalk
<br />and concrete driveway now exist; the construction of concrete driveway approaches to serve existing
<br />buildings and residences.
<br />(i) The construction and installation of a storm sewer system, complete with manholes and all
<br />other'hecessary appurtenances, as follows:
<br />(1) An 18" reinforced concrete pirpe storm sewer connected to two 12" reinforced concrete
<br />pipe storm laterals with a catch basin at each end thereof, across Whipple Avenue near the westerly
<br />intersection of Arguello Street with Whipple Avenue, thencealongthe northwesterly side of lvhipple
<br />Avenue to a point opposite the northeasterly line of Lot 15, Block 15, "Lenolt", thence a 36" rein-
<br />forced concrete pipe storm sewer from the aforementioned point along the northwester3,y side of Whip-
<br />ple Avenue, to connect'-with,an existing 30" corrugated metal pipe in Bayshore Highway.
<br />(2) Reinforced concrete catch basins connected to the aforementioned 18" reinforced concrete
<br />pipe storm sewer, by 12" reinforced concrete pipe storm laterals at the following locations:
<br />(A) One at the intersection of Whipple Avenue and Lenolt Street on the northwesterly
<br />side of Whipple Avenue.
<br />(B) One at the intersection of Allerton Street and Whipple Avenue on the southerly side
<br />of Whipple Avenue.
<br />(C) One each on both the northerly and southerly side of Whipple Avenue, at a point
<br />near the northeasterly line of Lot 15, Block 15, "Lenolt".
<br />(3) A 12" reinforced concrete pipe storm sewer, from a reinforced concrete catch basin to
<br />be constructed in a 10 -foot easement adjoining and parallel to the northeasterly line of "Lenolt"
<br />opposite the northeasterly terminus of D Street to a reinforced catch basin near the southerly side
<br />of D Street in said easement, thence from said catch basin, an 18" reinforced concrete pipe storm sewer
<br />along said easement to a reinforced concrete pipe catch basin to be constructed on the northerly side
<br />of C Street in said easement, thence from said catch basin, an 18" extra strength reinforced concrete
<br />catch basin to be constructed on the southerly side of C Street, thence from said catch basin, a 24"
<br />reinforced concrete pipe storm sewer to a reinforced concrete catch basin to be constructed on the
<br />northerly side of B Street in said easement, thence from said catch basin, a 24" extra strength
<br />reinforced concrete pipe storm sewer to a reinforced concrete catch basin to be constructed on the
<br />southerly side of B Street, thence from said catch basin, a 30" reinforced concrete pipe storm sewer
<br />to a reinforced concrete catch basin to be constructed on the northerly side of A Street in said
<br />easement, thence from said catch basin a 30" extra strength reinforced concrete pipe storm sewer
<br />to a reinforced concrete catch basin to be constructed on the southerly side of A Street, thence from
<br />said catch basin, a 30" reinforced concrete pipe storm sewer in said easement to a point near the
<br />northeasterly line of -Whipple Avenue opposite Lot 15, Block 15 "Lenolt".
<br />(j) The construction and installation of al ecessary appurtenances to the work to be performed_
<br />under items (a) through (i) inclusive.
<br />Al:lof said work and improvements are to be constructed at the places and in the manner,and to
<br />the lines, grades and elevations, as shown upon the plans profiles and specifications made therefor
<br />and on file in the office of the City Engineer of nedwood City.
<br />Said contemplated work and improvement, in the opinion of said City Council, is of more than
<br />local or ordinary public benefit, and. said Council does hereby make the cost and expenses of doing
<br />such work and improvement chargeable upon a District, which District said City Council declares to
<br />be the District benefited by said work and improvement and to be assessed to pay the entire cost and
<br />expenses thereof, and which said Assessment District is wholly within the limits of said City of
<br />Redwood City, State of California, and is described as follows:
<br />Said district includes all of "LENOITIT, a subdivision in Redwood 6ity, San l+iateo County,
<br />California, recorded May 7, 1925 in Vol. 12 of Maps, at pages 30 & 31, San Mateo County Records,
<br />the hearings of which are the basis of this description. Said district also includes portions of
<br />Block 13 - Range D, Block 11 - Range C, Block 14, - Range B and Villa Lot 21 of "TOWN OF N?EZESVILLE",
<br />xedorded August, 1, JP56, in Book 1 at page 793 San Mateo County Records, and is more particularly
<br />described as follows:
<br />Beginning at the intersection of the "Northerly Line of Rancho De Las Pulgas" with the
<br />Northwesterly line of Whipple Avenue, 80.00 feet in width, formerly known as Rogers Street and
<br />as Fourteenth Street; thence S 580 131 30" E along said "Northerly Line of Rancho De Las Pulgas",
<br />187.43 feet to the Southeasterly corner of Lot 4 of said Block 13 - Range D; thence S 470 32' 30"
<br />W, 1339 feet more or less to the Northeasterly Right of Way line of Southern Pacific Company;
<br />thence N 510 34, 17, along said Northeasterly'Right of Way line, 142 feet more or less to the center
<br />line of said Whipple Avenue; thence N 47p QQI B along said center line of Whipple Avenue, 34 feet
