<br />RESOLUTION 775• TRANSFER OF $403000 FROM GENERAL RESERVE TO GENERAL FUND. City4torney Currie explained
<br />this was the usual procedure every year. At the end of year money was transferred and put back into
<br />the Reserve Account after the taxes were paid. Councilman Granger offered resolution and moved adop-
<br />tion, seconded by Councilman Morgan and carried on roll call. Councilmen Britschgi and Holmquist noted
<br />absent.

<br />TRANSFERRING $40,000.00 FROM GENERAL RESERVE ACCOUNT TO THE GENERAL FUND
<br />RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Redwood City, that the sum of $40,(.00.00 be, and it
<br />hereby is, ordered transferred from the General Reserve Account to the General Fund;
<br />FURTHER RESOLVED., that the money so transferred shall be restored to the General Reserve Account
<br />prior to or at the end -of the fiscal year 19.9-50.

<br />IHEP�EAS, Lot 31 and the Northwesterly 1/2, front and rear measurements, of Lot 32, as desig-
<br />nated on the map entitled "MAP OF THE GRAY TRACT BEING A PORTION OF THE McEVOY TRACT, REDWOOD CITY,
<br />SA11 LLATEO CO., CAL.11 which map was filed in the office of the Recorder of San i4ateo County, Mate of
<br />California on October 12, 1906 in Liber 4 of Maps at page 38, tivere sold to the City of redwood City
<br />for delinquent taxes; and , 1,

<br />a deed from the City of Redwood City, in which deed racial restrictions were inadvertently inserted
<br />restricting occupancy thereof to members of the Caucasian race;
<br />NCW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of redwood City that all restric-
<br />tions as to racial occupancy of said property be and they are hereby removed and the owner of said
<br />property and any successor in interest is hereby freed from any restrictions with respect to occupancy
<br />of said property.
<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution, duly certified by the Clerk of the City be
<br />delivered to PENINSULA TITLE CUIU ANTY COMPANY, for recordhtion.
