V,=ER <br />Mayor of the City of Redwood City <br />CITY ENGINEER JAIN PRESENTED PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR LENOLT AND EXPLAINED HAT MARGINAL SIDEGPALKS <br />;IERE PLANNED ON A,B,D AND D STREET, no planting strip being provided due to the narrowness of <br />streets. Arguello and Lenolt, as well as Stafford anq,7hipple, were prepared according to stand - <br />and practice allowing for a planting strip between curb and sidewalk. <br />AFTER SEVERAL OF THE RESIDENT,5UF TIME AREA HtiD SPOKEN] namely Ifir.Carmichael, Col.. Edmonds, Mrs. Ronan, <br />Mrs. Smith and others, City Attorney advised as to the legal time -table covering the necessary <br />legal procedures to be followed. Assuming that the plans and specifications were approved this <br />date and the Resolution of Intention also adopted, the hearing would be set for October 17th at <br />which time Council could order work done and calikor bids. By meeting at a special meeting October <br />31st, contract could be entered into between November 12th and November 27th. <br />AFTER FTJRTFER DISCUSSION, CITY ENGINEER EXPLAINED THE PLANS, street by street advising further that the <br />estimated cost of the whole project would be approximately $160,000. <br />COUNCILMAN BRITSCHGI OFFERED RESOLUTION ADOPTING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, and moved adoption. Council- <br />man Spillers seconded motion which carried on roll call. <br />RES OLUTION , N0..783 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS, PROFILES, DETAILED DRANINGS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br />LENOLT <br />RESOLVED, by the City Council of theCity of Redwood City, that the plans, profiles, detailed <br />drawings and specifications for improvements in the City of nedwood City, as prepared by the City <br />Engineer of the City of Redwood City and presented to the ''ity Council on September 26, 1949, be, and <br />they are, hereby approved and ordered filed in the office of the City Clerk of said City. <br />• <br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at an adjourned meeting thereof, <br />held on the 26th day of September, 1949: by the following vote: <br />AYES, and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing resolution, Councilmen: <br />BRITSCHGI, GRANGER, HOLMQUIST, MORGAN, SPILLERS, S';"IIFT and WERDER. <br />RICES, Councilmen: NONE. <br />ABSENT, Councilmen:.
