<br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CONSTRUCT CERTAIN PUBLIC IIwPF.OVE'SENTS - LENOLT
<br />RESOLVED,, by the "ity Council of the City of Redwood City that the public convenience and nec.
<br />essity require, and that it intends to order in accordance with the procedure set out in Article I of
<br />Ordinance No. 333 of said City, adopted March 14, 1932, as amended, the following work to be done and
<br />improvements to be made in and for said City, to wit:
<br />All of said work and improvements are to be constructed at the places, in the manner, of the sizes,
<br />of the materials, and to the lines, grades and elevations asp shown on the plans, profiles and speci-
<br />fications made therefor, and on file in the office of th+ City Engineer of the City of redwood City,
<br />and the same are made a part hereof by reference thereto.
<br />TThenever any public way is referred to as running between tmv public ways, or from or to any
<br />public way, the intersections of the public ways referred to are included to the extent -that work
<br />shall be done therein pursuant to the plans and specifications hereinbefore referred to.
<br />Said Council does hereby adopt and establish as the official grades for said work the grades
<br />as shown on the plans, profiles and specifications made therefor and hereinbefore referred to.
<br />The total estimated cost of said improvements as determined by thgtity Engineer of xedwood City,
<br />California, is the sum of $$160,088.00.
<br />Said contemplated work and improvements, in the opinion of saijbity Council, is of more than
<br />local or ordinary public benefit and said Council does hereby make the cost and expenses of doing
<br />such work and improvements chargeable upon a district, which district said Council declares to be
<br />the district benefited by said work and improvements and to be assessed to pay the entire cost and
<br />expense thereof and which said district is wholly within the limits of said City of Redwood'ity,
<br />State of California, and is described as follows:
<br />Said district includes all of "LENOLT", a subdivision in Redwood City,San Mateo County,
<br />California, recorded May 72 1925 in Vol. 12 of Naps, at pages 30 & 312San 14teo County Records,
<br />the bearings of which are the basis of this description. Said district also includes portions of
<br />Block 13 -- Range D. Block 11 -- Range C, Block 14 -- Range B and Villa Lot 21 -of "TOIYN OF MEZES-
<br />VILLE," recorded August 1, 1856, in Book 1 at page 79, San Mateo County Records,, and is more
<br />particularly described as follows:
<br />Beginning at the intersection of the "Northerly Line of Rancho De Las Pulgas" with
<br />the Northwesterly line of Whipple Avenue, 80.00 feet in width, formsrly known as Rogers
<br />Street and as Fourteenth Street; thence S 580 13' 30" E along said "Northerly Line of
<br />Rancho De Las Pulgas,11187.43 feet -to the Southeasterly corner of Lot 4 of said Block 13 --
<br />Range D; thence S 470 32' 30" 71, 1339 feet more or less to the Northeasterly Right o:V;ay
<br />line of Southern Pacific Company; thence N 510 34' 7T, along said Northeasterly Right of ''Tay
<br />line, 142 feet more or less to the center line of said Uhipple Avenue; thence 11 470 CO' E
<br />along said center line of 17hipple avenue, 3h feet more or less to the center line of Stafford
