<br />1. That public convenience and necessity require the improvements described in said Resolution
<br />No. 728.
<br />2. That any and all objections and protests madepursuant to said resolution be, and the same
<br />are, hereby overruled and denied.
<br />3. That the improvements described in said resolution be made under and pursuant to the provis-
<br />ions of Article I of the Redwood City Improvement Procedure Ordinance (Ordinance No- 333, adopted
<br />March 14, 1932, as amended), and that thgbpecial Assessment, Investigation, Limitation and Majority
<br />Protest Act of 1931 shall not apply to said proceedings.

<br />RESOLUTION OF PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY
<br />EAGLE HILL ALLEYS
<br />WHEREAS,on the 5th day of July, 1949, the City Council of the City of Redwood City adopted a
<br />Resolution of Preliminary Determination to make public improvement:in the City of Redwood City, being
<br />Resolution No.729 of said Council, to construct certain public improvements more particularly described
<br />therein, and did fix therein July 18, 1949 as the time and place when and where any and all persons
<br />interested may appear and show cause, if any they have, why the Citybouncil should not find and de-
<br />termine that the public convenience and necessity require the improvements described and referred to
<br />in said resolution without compliance with the Special Assessment,Investigation, Limitation and Majority
<br />Protest Act of 1931; and
<br />WHEREAS notice of the adoption of said resolution and of said time and place of hearing was given
<br />by the City Clerk by publication and posting for the time and in the manner provided in said resolution
<br />and Ordinance No. 515 of the City of Redwood �'ity, as appears from the affidavits on file with the C#y
<br />Clerk; and r
<br />WHEREAS no persons objecting to the undertaking of said proceedings without first complying with
<br />the provisions of said SpecialAssessment, Investigation, Limitation, and Majority Protest Act of 1931
<br />have filed written objections thereto with the City Clerk at or before the time fixed for said hhearing
<br />by persons interested, owning or having an interest in real property within the proposed assessment
<br />districts bearing their signatures, a description of their property, and a statement of the nature of
<br />their interest therein; and
<br />WHEREAS all persons have been given an opportunity to be and were fully heard, and said Council
<br />has duly considered any and all objections and protests made, and the said proposed improvements and
<br />the public convenience and necessity for making the same,,
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redwood City, as follows:
<br />1. That public convenience and necessity require the improvements described in said Resolution
<br />No. 729.
<br />2. That any and all objections and protests made pursuant to said resolution be, and the same
<br />are, hereby overruled and denied.
