RESOLUTION 792 VIRGINIA AVENUE IMPROVEMENTS. was offered and moved for adoption by Councilman Morgan, <br />seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried on roll call. <br />RESOLUTION N0. 792 <br />RESOLUTION OF PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AN1&ECESSITY- VIRGINIA AVENUE <br />1 WHEREAS, on the 5th day of July, 19493 the City Council of the City of Redwood City adopted <br />a'Resolution of Preliminary Determination to make public improvements in the City of Redwood City, <br />being Resolution No.730 of said Council, to construct certain public improvements more particularly <br />i <br />1 described therein, and did fix! therein July 181, 1949 as the time and place when and where any and all <br />persons interested may appear and show cause, if any they have, why the City Council should not find <br />and determine that the public convenience and necessity require the improvements described and referred <br />to in said resolution without compliance with the Special Assessment,.Investigation, Limitation and Ma- <br />bority Protest Act of 1931; and <br />74MEAS notice of the adoption of said resolution and of said time and place of hearing was given <br />j by the City Clerk by publication and posting for the time and in the manner provided in said resolution <br />s and Ordinance No. 515 of the City of Redwood City, as appears from the affidavits on file with the City <br />'s <br />j Clerk; and <br />WHEREAS no persons objecting to the undertaking of said proceedings without first complying with <br />f F the provisions of said Special Assessment, Investigation, Limitation, and Majority Protest Act of 1931 <br />have filed written objections thereto with the City Clerk at or before the time fixed for said hearing <br />by persons interested, owning or having an interest in real property within the proposed assessment <br />district, bearing their signatures, a description of their property, and a statement of the nature of <br />the nature of their interest therein; and <br />WHEREAS allpersons have been given an opportunity to be and were fully heard, and said Council <br />has duly considered any and all objections and protests made, and the said proposed improvements and <br />the public convenience and necessity for making the same; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of theCity of Redwood City, as follows: <br />l 1. That public convenience and necessity require the improvements described in said Resolution <br />4 No. 730. <br />i2. That any and all objections and protests made pursuant to said resolution bey and the same <br />are, hereby overruled and denied. <br />i 3.
