City Engineer Jain stated they <br />had made an attempt to keep a few of the gutters cleaned in the business area, but there were several <br />other streets in the area of Clinton and Vera just as bad, that it would take a great deal of time as <br />there were so many that should be dug out and repaired and he hoped a regular gutter program could be <br />worked out in the future. Councilman Granger asked that this be placed on agenda in fairness to the <br />people out there. <br />CITY MANAGE*TATED THE COUNCIL WANTED TO ADOPT NECESSARY ACTION IN REGARD TO SALARY OF POLICE CHIEF AND ES— <br />TAB_LISH NEW POSITION OF CAPTAIN on reorganization program previously discussed.
