NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT AND IT HEREBY IS RESOLVED that the diagram presented by -363
<br />the City Engineer for approval, as said diagram is hereinbefore described, be, and it
<br />hereby is, approved.
<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the City of Redwood City be and he hereby
<br />is directed to certify to the date of said diagrams approval.
<br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular meeting
<br />thereof, held on the 5th day of December, 1949, by the following vote:

<br />PUBLIC HEARING, CENTRAL PARK No.2 IItiiPROVEMENTS. Mrs. Rhoda L. Samples, 459 Sapphire Street
<br />.and Mrs. Luella Cowgill & Joseph E. Cowgill, 725 Sapphire Street submitted written
<br />protests. Councilman Britschgi moved that protests be overruled, seconded by Council-
<br />rgan Swift and carried.

<br />RESOLUTION CONFIRMING ASSESSMENTS AND ASSESSMENT DIAGRAM
<br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION 1946-2
<br />WHEREAS the Council of the City of Redwood City on July 1, 1946, duly and regularly
<br />passed and adopted Resolution No. 357, declaring its intention to make certain improve-
<br />ments in the City of Redwood City, more particularly described in said resolution and
<br />to which resolution reference is hereby made for further particulars; and
<br />WHEREAS an assessment diagram was prepared and approved by the Council of the
<br />City of Redwood City on March �3, 1948, to which diagram reference is hereby made for
<br />further particulars; and
<br />WHEREAS said improvements have been satisfactorily completed; and
<br />WHEREAS proper notice of the filing of said assessment was given by the Clerk of
<br />the City of Redwood City by posting, causing to be published and mailing notices of the
<br />assessment to each person owning property proposed to be assessed therefor, as said
<br />persons' names and addresses appeared on the last equalized assessment roll for City
<br />taxes; and
<br />WHEREAS a hearing was held on December 5, 1949, in the City Hall of the City of
<br />Redwood City at which time all written protests to said assessment were read; and
<br />WHEREAS written protests were received from Rhoda S. Samples, owner of S. E. z
<br />of Lot 2, Block 9, Central Park No. 2 and Luella Gowgill, owner of Lots 9, 102 11,
<br />Block 47, Central Park Ido. 2, which protests on motion of Councilman Britschgi,
<br />seconded by Councilman Swift and unanimously carried were duly overruled.,
<br />WHEREAS all other written protests, if any, were overruled;
<br />NOW9 THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Redwood City resolves as follows:-'
<br />That the assessments and the assessment diagram attached thereto, covering the
<br />cost of certain improvements made in the City of Redwood City and described in
<br />Resolution No. 357, to which resolution reference is hereby made for further partic-
<br />ulars, and which assessment has been filed with the Clerk of the City of Redwood City,
<br />be and the same is hereby approved and confirmed.
