416 from water sales to consumers in that tract of land in the City of Redwood City owmed*ty Land Development Company, known as the "Cdrson-Monckton Tract", and served by the water system installed by Land Development Company, a sum equal to twenty per cent (20p) of said gross revenue for a period of twenty-three (23) years from the date of whatever agreement is entered into or until Land -Develop- ment Company has received a -sum equal to sixty per cent (60%) of the cost of said water system, without interest, in said Carson -Monckton Tract, whichever Tract, whichever date is sooner. (c) That judgment may be entered in the Superior Court of the State of Califer- nia, in and for the County of San Mateo, in accordance with the provisions of the agreement entered into between the City Manager and the Land Development Company and that such judgment shall provide that judgment on the issue of damages con- tained in the aforementioned complaint shall be entered in favor of the City of Redwood City. (d) That prior to entering into the aforementioned agreement, the City Manager shall submit said agreement in final form to the Council of Redwood City for said council's approval. WERDER Mayor of the City of Redwood City Councilman Morgan who was to meet with City Attorney Currie and Building Inspector Duncan with reference to study of Building Ordinance suggested this be placed on the agenda for the next meeting. EMERALD LAKE WATER DISTRICT. Councilman Morgan stated it was the intent to invite the Council to the meeting which would be held in the Council Chambers but he had been asked to attend a small meeting in the district at one of the homes Wednesday, 22nd, but Council members would be notified of the meeting to be held later. REQUEST OF VETERANS TO LEASE AMERICAN LEGION HALL was placed on the agenda for a report at the request of Councilman Morgan. PORT ISSUE. Councilman Morgan thought preparations should be made in time to get on ballot if necessary. City Attorney Currie promised a letter would go to the Council on this in plenty of time if it was to go on the ballot. PISTOL RANGE, POLICE DEPARTMENT. Councilman Granger thought a committee should be appoin- ted to work this out as the men.were interested in a pistol range. Mayor Werder appointed a committee of three suggesting Chief Wood select a man from his department if he did not wish to serve himself, Red Morton Director of Recreation and the Real Estate Committee: Councilmen Holmquist and Spillers. INSURANCE REPRESENTATIVE. Councilman Granger asked who had been appointed to succeed Mr. Mr. Lauman as responsible to the City. Auditor Brophy had received a letter from Mr. Harman stating that the City could get in touch with him on any insurance problem.
