RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS, PROFILES, DETAILED DRAWINGS AND SPECIFICATIONS ALAMEDA DE LAS PULGAS AND HOPKINS AVENUE RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Redwood City, that the plans, profiles, detailed drawings and specifications for improvements in the City of Redwood City, as prepared by the City Engineer of the City of Redwood City and presented to the City Council on March 6, 1950, be and they are hereby approved and ordered filed in the office of the City Clerk of said City. Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular meeting thereof, held on the 6th day of March, 1950, by the following vote: AYES, and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing resolution: Councilmen: BRITSCHGI, GRANGER, HOLMQUIST, MORGAN, SPILLERS, SWIFT, and Mayor WERDER. _. RES 0LUTI ON No. 42. RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CONSTRUCT CERTAIN PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS. ALAMEDA DE LAS PULGAS AND HOPKINS AVENUE RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Redwood City that the public con- venience and necessity require, and that it intends to order in accordance with the procedure set out in Article I of Ordinance No. 333 of said City, adopted March 114.2 1932, as amended, the following work to be done and improvements to be made in and for said City, to wit: (a) The improvement of Alameda de las Pulgas by constructing and installing thereon four inch (WI) concrete sidewalks, five feet (51) in width, on the easterly side thereof from the intersection of Alameda de las Pulgas with Whipple Avenue to the southerly line of Lot eleven (11). Block seven (7) Oak Knoll Manor, and on the westerly side thereof from the intersection of Alameda de las Pulgas with Whipple Avenue to the intersection of Alameda de las Pulgas with Hopkins Avenue; by constructing and installing therein on both sides thereof from the intersection of Alameda de las Pulgas with Whipple Avenue to the intersection of Alameda de las Pulgas with Hopkins Avenue of concrete driveway approaches to serve existing houses and residences; provided, how- ever, that no sidewalks or driveways shall be constructed or installed where existing sidewalks and driveways meet the established line and grade.
