M. of said day, at the Council Chamber of said Council of said City, <br />in the City Hall on Middlefield Road in said City, has been and is hereby fixed as <br />the day, hour and place when and where any .and all persons having any objections to <br />the proposed work and improvements described herein, or to the grade to which said <br />work and improvements are to.be done and made, or to the district proposed to be <br />assessed for said work and improvements, may appear before said Council of said City <br />and show cause why said proposed work and improvements should not be carried out and <br />done in accordance with this resolution of intention, or why said work and improve- <br />ments should not be carried out and done at the grades as shown on the plans, profiles, <br />and detailed drawings referred to herein, and for hearing any protests in relation to <br />said proposed improvement. , <br />The Redwood City Tribune, a daily (except Sunday) newspaper, published,.printed, <br />and circulated in said City of Redwood City, is hereby designated by the Council of <br />said City as the newspaper in which to publish this Resolution of Intention as required <br />by law, and the Clerk of said City of Redwood City is hereby ordered and directed to <br />cause this Resolution of Intention to be published in said newspaper twice, as re- <br />quired by law. <br />The Street Superintendent of said City of Redwood City shall cause notices of <br />the passage of this Resolution of Intention to be posted in the time, form, manner, <br />and number as required by law. <br />The Clerk of said City shall mail notices of the adoption of this Resolution of <br />Intention to all persons owning real property proposed to be assessed, whose names <br />and addresses appear on the last equalized assessment roll for said City taxes, prior <br />thereto, in time, form and manner as required by law. <br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular <br />meeting thereof, held on the 6th day•of March, 1950, by the following vote: <br />AYES, and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing resolution, <br />Councilmen: BRITSCHGI, GRANGER, HOLMQUIST, MORGAN, SPILLERS, SWIFT, Mayor WERDER. <br />NOES, <br />ABSENT, <br />ATTEST: <br />Councilmen: NONE <br />Councilmen: NONE <br />RALPH S. M. WERDER <br />Mayor of the City of Redwood City <br />OVERTIME. Councilmen Britschgi and Granger met with the Personnel Board spending several <br />l hours and discussed each position involved. In the classification of positions not <br />eligible for ovetime accumulation the word "professional" was added to the recom- <br />mendation submitted at the February 20th Council meeting. Councilman Granger moved <br />that the Personnel Board's recommendation be adopted, seconded by Councilman Morgan <br />and carried. <br />APPROVAL OF FINAL MAP, WOODSIDE TERRACE NO. 2. Map was presented by Frost and Brian for <br />P.Z. J. King, Inc., as well as improvement plan tracinga. It was understood that the <br />water system be worked out which is satisfactory to the City. City Engineer Jain <br />stated there were a few minor corrections on the improvement plans to be made. <br />r Councilman Britschgi moved approval of the map subject to further approval of water <br />_ question and the items mentioned by Mr. Jain, seconded by Councilman Morgan, and <br />carried. <br />ACCEPTANCE OF RESIGNATION BY MR. THOMAS CUTTING, Chairman of the Personnel Board, was <br />moved by Councilman Morgan, letter to be written to him thanking him for his services, <br />seconded by Councilman Britschgi, and carried. <br />NOMINATIONS FOR APPOINTMENT TO THE PERSONNEL BOARD. Councilman Holmquist nominated Mr. <br />Wm. E. Byrd, member of the Carpenters Union, and past president of the Native Sons <br />
