Mr. Kirchner explained this would be once a week only as he had
another job, but that there were many who would like to sell horses and there was j
no outlet Por disposing of them. City Attorney Currie suggested that this might
come before the Planning Commission as a use permit might be necessary in their
opinion. He also
stated he had been out there but that on account of the pole situation until they
were given a position by the P.G.& E. and Telephone Company they could not tie into
a circuit, and that it would be better to take in more than one street as it would
double the work to go back again. Lenolt Tract had been waiting 6 or S weeks.
City Manager Rolison stated it was necessary to clear through the Joint Pole 1(t
Association, and sometines they were slow. Mayor Werder suggested a letter beJ
written on the part of the City to them which would necessitate an answer and tell
them of the need. Chief Lodi explained that the job would have to be laid out
first in order to inform them what they needed. Application could be made after int
that. Mayor Werder asked Chief Lodi and other departments to give this request
every possible consideration and suggested that Mrs. Meyers remind one of the
Councilmen of the request in the near future.
RECOMMENDATIONS OF C.G. The question was put to City Attorney Currie on the removal of this. City
`.
Attorney Currie thought we could request that they remove the manhole provided we
-
had the sketch to support the request and that it could be put in just a little
west of the service station if that was where it belonged.
