464.., <br />RESOLUTION No. 853 APPROVING ASSESSMENT DIAGRAM, VIRGINIA'_AVENUE. Councilman Swift <br />offered resolution and moved adoption, seconded by Councilman Spillers, and carried <br />on roll call. <br />RES0LUTI ON No. 853 <br />APPROVING ASSESSMENT DIAGRAM <br />VIRGINIA AVENUE <br />WHEREAS the Council of the City of Redwood City did, on August 15,, 1949, pass <br />and adopt a resolution, No. 756, ordering certain work and improvements, said work <br />and improvements being described and set out in Resolution of Intention No. 746 of <br />said Council, passed and adopted on July 18, 1949, said resolutions both being on <br />file in the office of the Clerk of the City of Redwood City and to which resolu- <br />tions reference is hereby made for further particulars; and <br />WHEREAS said Resolution No. 756 directed the City Engineer of Redwood City to <br />make and sign the assessments to be made for the work and improvements to be done <br />under said Resolution of Intention No. 746; and <br />WHEREAS the City Engineer of,ithe City of Redwood City has prepared and pre- <br />sented for the approval of tine Council of the City of Redwood City a diagram of the <br />property affected or benefited by the work and improvements described in said Reso- <br />lution of Intention No. 746 and to be assessed to pay the expenses thereof, said <br />diagram showing each separate lot, piece or parcel of land and the dimensions of <br />each such lot, piece or parcel of land and the relative location of the same to <br />the work proposed to be done, all within the limits of the assessment district set <br />out in said Resolution of Intention No. 746; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT AND IT HEREBY IS RESOLVED that the diagram presented by <br />the City Engineer for approval, as said diagram is hereinbefore described, be, <br />and it hereby is, approved; <br />FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk of the City of Redwood City be and he hereby <br />is directed to certify to the date of said diagram's approval. <br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular <br />meeting thereof, held on the 3rd day of April, 1950, by the following vote: <br />AYES, and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoin resolution, <br />Councilmen: BRITSCHGI, GRANGER, HOLMQUIST, MORGAN, SPILLERS, SWIFT, and WERDER. <br />NOES, <br />ABSENT, <br />ATTEST: <br />Councilmen: NONE <br />Councilmen: NONE <br />RALPH S. WERDER <br />Mayor of the City of Redwood City <br />RESOLUTION No. 854 AUTHORIZING CONVEYANCE OF TAX DEEDED PROPERTY TO SPATE OF CALIFORNIA, <br />Lots 9, 12, 26, 29, in Block 1, Lot 14 in Block 2, Lot 4 in Block 3, and Lots 102 <br />12, 19, 22, 24, In Block 4, all in Jefferson Avenue Addition. Councilman Holmquist <br />offered resolution and moved adoption, seconded by Councilman Britschgi, and carried <br />on roll call. <br />RESOLUTION No. 854 <br />AUTHORIZING CONVEYANCE OF TAX DEEDED PROPERTY TO STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />WHEREAS, the real property hereinafter described was deeded to the City of <br />Redwood City on October 26, 1945, pursuant to the provisions of Division 11 Part 6, <br />Chapter 8, Article 1 of the Revenue and Taxation Code; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has not sold said property within the period <br />contained in the agreement with the County of San Mateo, under which agreement said <br />property was deeded to said City; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE AND IT HEREBY IS RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />Redwood City as follows: <br />1.
