<br />BIDS ON BY-PRODUCT, SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT, was suggested by Councilman Holmquist. Parks
<br />Department used some of this for fill and the Police Department would use some for f
<br />pistol range site. Councilman Britschgi moved, seconded by Councilman Morgan that
<br />City Attorney Currie inform the proper authorities to set a price, find out what
<br />possible income from this source might be and check as to possibility on advertising
<br />for bids and bring back a report. Motion carried. f
<br />CLAIMS Nos. 2600 to 2720 inclusive in the amount of $19,937.73 were approved for payment
<br />on motion of Councilman Morgan, seconded by Councilman Spillers, and carried.

<br />ON ROLL CALL the following were present: Councilmen:' Carl A. Britschgi, Floyd D. Granger
<br />H. E. Holmquist, Albert H. Morgan, Jr., Robert V. Spillers, Mayor W. M. Werder, and
<br />City Clerk Ralph S. Dodge. Also present were: Water Superintendent H. L. Winter,

<br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES. Councilman Morgan moved approval of minutes as mailed, seconded by
<br />Councilman Spillers, and carried.
<br />CANVASS RETURNS OF APRIL 11th, 1950 ELECTION. Tally sheets were read by City Clerk Dodge
<br />and checked by the Councilmen. Resolution declaring canvass and returns of Muni-
<br />cipal Election in all nineteen (19) precincts with each candidate found that Carl A.
<br />Britschgi, W. M. Werder and Wm H. Royer received the highest number of votes and
<br />were elected Councilmen. This was offered and moved for adoption, subject to three
<br />corrections in the count, by Councilman Morgan, seconded by Councilman Granger and
<br />carried on roll call.

<br />DECLARING CANVASS OF RETURNS AND RESULT OF GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION
<br />AND CONSOUIDATED SPECIAL MUNICIPAL BOND ELECTION HELD ON APRIL 11, 1950.
<br />WHEREAS, the Council `of the City of Redwood City, by Resolution No. 836, duly
<br />passed and adopted on the 21st day of February, 1950, designated the precincts and
<br />polling places and appointed the members of the precinct boards for the general
<br />election to be held in said City of Redwood City on April 11, 1950, as required by
<br />law, for the object and purpose of electing the following municipal officers ofjJ�
<br />said City of Redwood City: -
<br />Three (3) Councilmen for the full term of four (4) years each; i

<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 832, adopted by said Council on the 20th
<br />day of February, 1950, said Council ordered the submission to the qualified elec=
<br />tors and voters of said City at said General Election the Charter amendment
<br />measure hereinafter specified as Measure No. 2, and ��11
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 837, adopted by said Council on the 27th
<br />day 6f.F.ebruary,.1950,-said Council ordered'.the submission to the qualified elec-
<br />tors and voters of said City at said General Election the advisory measure relative
<br />to the entering into of a lease arrangement by the Board of Port Commissioners of
<br />said City, which said measure is hereinafter specified as Measure No. 3; and
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 636, adopted by said Council on the 27th
<br />day of February, 1950, said Council called and ordered held in said City of Redwood
<br />City on said April 11, 1950, a special municipal bond election for the purpose of
<br />submitting to the qualified electors and voters of said City the bond measure
