hereinafter specified as Measure No. 1, which said special municipal bond election 4 6 7
<br />was by said Ordinance No. 636 consolidated with the general municipal election
<br />hereinabove referred to; and
<br />f WHEREAS, said general municipal election and consolidated special municipal bond
<br />1 election was held on Tuesday, April 11, 1950, in accordance with lair, and the votes
<br />thereat received and canvassed, and t he returns thereof ascertained, determined and
<br />declared in all respects as required by law.
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND DECLARED by the Council of
<br />ji the City of Redwood City, as follows:
<br />1. That the City Clerk of the City of Redwood City be, and is hereby, instructed
<br />to'enter this resolution on the minutes of this Council ass. statement of the result
<br />of said election.
<br />2. That the whole number of votes cast in said City at said consolidated election
<br />was 4638 votes. That four (4) ballots were spoiled and not counted.
<br />3. That the list of candidates nominated for the office of Councilman to be
<br />filled at said general municipal election and the names of the candidates which were
<br />set forth in the petitions assembled and filed with the City Clerk, as required by law,
<br />and the number of votes cast in favor of each of the candidates in each precinct and
<br />the total number of votes cast at said election in favor of each of the candidates,
<br />were as follows:

<br />I4. That Carl A. Britschgi, Wm. H. Royer, and Vim M. Werder, received the highest
<br />number of votes given for said office of Councilman and said Carl A Britschgi, Wm H.
<br />Royer, and Wm M. Werder were thereby elected Councilmen for the full term of four years,
<br />and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to sign and deliver to said Carl A. Britschgi,
<br />Vim. H. Royer, and Wm M. Werder, a Certificate of Election and to administer to each
<br />of said persons the Oath of Office prescribed in the Constitution of the State of
<br />California.
<br />5. That at said consolidated special numicipal election the following neasures,
<br />and each of them, were submitted to the electors of said City and that the number of
<br />votes given in said City for and against said measures, and each of them, was as

<br />way and El Camino Real; improvement of tributary channels
<br />upstream from E1 Camino Real, including r.emoval of channel
<br />obstructions, widening and deepening of channels and repla-
<br />cement of existing inadequate culverts and bridges; em-
<br />bankments, retaining walls, bulkheads, culverts, pipe lines,
<br />pipes, pumps, machinery, apparatus, equipment, catchbasins,
<br />manholes, grading, fills, relocation of channels, restoration
<br />of street crossings, lands, easements, rights-of-way;'and
<br />other works, property or structures necessary or convenient
<br />for channel improvements of Redwood Creek and storm drain-
