<br />sation of Councilmen at Fifty
<br />Dollars ($50.00) per month?
<br />MEASURE No. 3 Do you approve of the City of Red-
<br />wood City, acting by and through
<br />its Board of Port Commissioners,
<br />entering into a lease arrangement regarding City -owned
<br />property at the Port of Redwood City, whereby two build-
<br />ings containinga proximately two hundred thirty-eight
<br />thousand (238,000 square feet of area, will be construc-
<br />ted on said City property and leased to the City of
<br />Redwood City for a period of twenty-five years at a
<br />yearly rental cost to the City of approximately Thirty-
<br />two Thousand Dollars (0322000.00) plus insurance and
<br />City and County taxes, one of said buildings to be
<br />leased by the City to a responsible warehouse company
<br />at a guarant6ed rental of approximately Fifteen
<br />Thousand Dollars ($15,000.00) per annum, plus a por-
<br />tion of the net operating revenue, and the other
<br />building to.be operated by the Port of Redwood City
<br />as a transit shed for the assembly of goods while
<br />awaiting shipments?

<br />6. That by said resolution calling said general municipal election of the
<br />City of Redwood City was divided into nineteen (19) election precincts, the
<br />general state and county election precincts into which said City is divided for
<br />general state and county election purposes being thereby consolidated, and that
<br />the number of votes cast in each precinct for and against said measurers, and
<br />each of them, was as follows:
<br />7. That less than two-thirds of all of the votes cast at said special
<br />municipal election were in favor of said Measure No. 1 (Redwood Creek Channel
<br />Improvement and Storm Drainage Facilities) and against the incurring of indebted-
<br />ness for the purpose set forth in said Measure, and that said Measure No.l
<br />failed to carry. That less than a majority of all of the votes cast at said
<br />special municipal election were in favor of said Measure No. 20 Charter Amend-
<br />ment and No. 3, Port Lease plan, and that said Measures No. 2 and No. 3 failed
<br />to carry.
<br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of April, 1950,'by the following votes:
