<br />That I have carefully compared the same with the original minutes of said
<br />meeting on file and of record in my office and that said resolution is duly
<br />entered of record in Book 22 of Minutes, at pages No. 466 to 469, inclusive, and
<br />said resolution is a full, true and correct copy of the original resolution adopted
<br />at said meeting and entered in said minutes. That said resolution has not been
<br />amended, modified or rescinded since the date of its adoption and the same is now
<br />in full force and effect.

<br />elected Councilmen: CARL A. BRITSCHGI,, W. M. WERDER and WIVI. H. ROYER.

<br />NOMINATIONS WERE ENTERTAINED FOR MAYOR and Councilman Spillers nominated Councilman Carl A•.
<br />Britschgi. Councilman Warder moved that nominations be closed, seconded by Council-
<br />man Morgan. Motion carried unanimously.
<br />THE FOLLOWING ROLL CALL WAS TAKEN after City Clerk called the meeting to order. Council-
<br />men Floyd D. Granger, H. E. Holmquist, Albert H. Morgan, Jr., Vim H. Royer, R. V.
<br />Spillers, W. 1,4. Warder, and Mayor Carl A. Britschgi. `
<br />MAYOR, BRITSCHGI thanked all for their support and asked for the Council.members_support
<br />F� in his forthcoming term. Ex -Mayor Warder stated he had always had complete cooperation at
<br />__• all times from all the members on the Council. The new member of the Council, Wm H.
<br />Royer thought Mayor Werder had done an outstanding job, expressed appreciation for
<br />the vote of confidence by the people and pledged his utmost to cooperate with the
<br />Council for the welfare of the City. The remaining members pledged their support to
<br />the new Mayor, each expressing his appreciation for cooperation of all the members
<br />during the past term.
<br />PLAQUE PRESENTED TO EX -MAYOR V,'ERDER BY MAYOR BRITSCHGI. Mayor Britschgi explained that a
<br />way was found to present this plaque to the past Mayor, inasmuch as City funds could
<br />not be spent for such a purpose. The plaque was to serve as a momento "For a job
<br />well done". It was accepted with gratitude by Ex -Mayor Warder for the spirit which
<br />prompted this gift.
<br />RESTAURANT APPLICATION, KNOWN AS "JAYS", 1436 E1 Camino Real, Mrs. Jimmy Russutti, General
<br />Fj
<br />on Sale Liquor License. Application had been approved by Health, Building, Fire,
<br />and Police Departments, and permit was granted on motion of Councilman Granger,
<br />seconded by Councilman Morgan and carried.
<br />RESTAURANT APPLICATION, "ZESTO PRODUCTS STORE", 947 E1 Camino Real, E. H. Rudd .and R. C.
<br />Winsor, no liquor, had been approved by Health, Building, Fire, and Police Departments
<br />and permit was granted on motion of Councilman Spillers, seconded by Councilman Warder
<br />and carried.
<br />A10RICAN LEGION REDWOOD CITY POST 105 extended an invitation to the Council members to
<br />attend dedication ceremonies of the new American Legion Home, 651 E1 Camino Real, on
<br />Sunday, April 30th, at 1:30 P-I:I. Colonel John H. Stokes, Jr., member of the General
<br />Wedemayer's staff would be the guest speaker and a sixty -piece Sixth Army Band would
