DODGE <br />Clerk of the City of Redwood City <br />K EMERALD LAKE WATER RATES. <br />I hereby approve the foregoing resolution <br />this 18th day of April, 1950. <br />CARL A. BRITSCHGI <br />Mayor of the City of Redwood City <br />City Manager Rolison stated that each member of the Council <br />had received a copy of the recommended revision of Water Rates for Emerald Lake <br />and other outside territory. There were approximately 1000 consumers and about <br />25/ or 200 were fringe consumers around Eaton Avenue and on borderline of City. <br />Most of those on the borderline received City services such as street lighting, <br />police patrol, sewage disposal service. Increase in rates were approximately <br />250. Councilman Granger moved that the report received by the Councilmen be made <br />part of the minutes, that more time be taken to study further and placed on agenda, <br />seconded by Councilman Spillers, and carried. <br />OFFICE OF THE CITY MANAGER <br />Redwood Cit, California <br />April 1�, 1950. <br />Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />Redwood City, California <br />Subject: Revision of Water Rates for Emerald Lake and Other Outside Territory. <br />Gentlemen: <br />You will recall that under date of March 6, I handed each member of the <br />Council a somewhat comprehensive preliminary report, together with a detailed <br />financial statement of the revenues and expenditures of the Redwood City Water <br />Department in the Emerald Lake arca for the calendar year 1949, which for the <br />purpose of refreshing your memory may be summarized as follows: <br />ANNUAL GROSS REVENUE <br />Receipts from Water Sales <br />Receipts from New Service <br />Total Annual Revenue <br />MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION EXPENSE <br />Water Purchased from S. F.
