Councilman Granger moved that City Engineer Jain proceed ,nd prepare plans and specifications if a Health hazard existed in that area, seconded by Councilman Holmquist and carried. I� WOODSIDE TERRACE No. 2, M. J. King Company planned to bukld 125 homes in this subdivision Mr. B. I. Lusk, Vice President and Attorney Cosgrove both appeared. They felt the City's tax roll would be increased measurably and if they put money in water project out there they would like to have a refund of 20% on gross receipts over a period of 20 years. The Council was of the opinion that an agreement should be worked out and used as a pattern for all subdividers. REQUEST TO BID ON Lot 42, Resubdivision Lot 1, Reese Tract, on Lincoln Avenue at the corner of Fulton Street. This was a strip 4 feet x 114 feet. Robert J. Edward, owner of adjacent Lot 43 was interested in the purchase of this strip according to Councilman Spillers, and he moved that City Manager Rolison be authorized to call for bids on this property, seconded by Councilman Werder and carried. PEOPLE CONFINED IN COUNTY JAIL - WORK FOR CITY UNDER SUPERVISION. Councilman Granger suggested that these people could be rehabilitated and work for the Park Depart- ment. A proposed Noise Ordinance had been submitted to the Council for their consideration several months ago. Councilman Granger thought it should be recon- sidered and somewhat modified in order to eliminate some of the volume of noise from the loud speakers travelling around the City advertising various businesses, and he so moved that City Attorney Currie check with neighboring cities on this problem and place on the agenda, seconded by Councilman Royer and carried.
