It was suggested by Councilman Granger that our
City Engineer determine the cost of redrock without any obligation on the part of
the City, if this would be possible. City Engineer Jain thought there could be no
objection to this, if the residents wanted to pay for and have the redrock dumped on
the street. City would furnish labor and roll the redrock. Mayor Werder suggested
that property owners on Reese be notified accordingly by letter addressed to Mr.
Mak. Thirty-seven items were listed in a three
page letter which were to be done in the tray of signs, etc. City Engineer Jain
stated he had made a personal trip at the request of the Public Utilities Commis-
sion and that they had been ordered to prepare the recommendation through the State.
Engineer Jain had a list of what was to be done and the breakdown. City Manager
Rolison explained that City Engineer Jain was to prepare an estimate. Councilman
Morgan moved that an estimate showing the cost of things to be done be presented
at the next meeting, seconded by Councilman Holmquist, and carried.
TED. J.
