<br />WHEREAS all other written protests, if any, were overruled
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Redwood City resolves as
<br />follows: That the assessments and assessment diagram covering the cost of improv-
<br />ing Valota Road by installation of a sewer system,.as filed with the City Clerk of
<br />the City of Redwood City and as hereinbefore ordered amended, be and the same is
<br />hereby approved and confirmed..
<br />PASSED and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular
<br />meeting thereof held on the 6th day of December, 1948, by the following vote:
<br />AYES, and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing resolution:
<br />Councilmen: BRITSCHGI, GRANGER, HOLMQUIST, MORGAN, SPELLERS, SWIFT, and Mayor

<br />a lot .could be found for parking which would accomodate more cars. A high fence
<br />was considered, ornamental enough not to detract from the business on the street.
<br />Councilman Britschgi moved that an estimate for the cost of the fence be brought
<br />back, seconded by Councilman Morgan, and carried.
<br />VALOTA ROAD SEWERS. Councilman Morgan moved that an affidavit of publication, mailing]
<br />and posting be filed, seconded by Councilman Holmquist, and carried. Councilman'D�
<br />Morgan moved approval of assessment reduction from $308.30 to $190.68 on Assess-
<br />ment No.15, seconded by Councilman Spillers, and carried. Councilman.Morgan offered
<br />resolution and moved adoption, seconded by Councilman Holmquist, correcting Assess-
<br />ment NO -15 from $308.30 to $190.68, and approving and confirming assessments and
<br />assessment diagram. Resolution adopted unanimously on roll call.

<br />RESOLUTION CONFIRMING ASSESSMENTS AND ASSESS14ENT DIAGRAM
<br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION 1947-10 RESOLUTION No.451 - (VALOTA ROAD SANITARY
<br />SEWER).
<br />WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Redwood City, on March 17, 1947,
<br />duly and regularly passed and adopted Resolution of Intention 1947-1, Resolution
<br />!
<br />No. 451, declaring its intention to make certain street improvements more particu-.
<br />laky described therein and to which reference is hereby made; and
<br />WHEREAS an assessment diagram was prepared and approved by the City Council
<br />of the City of Redwood City on July 19, 1948,
<br />to which reference is hereby made;
<br />and
<br />WHEREAS said improvement has been satisfactorily completed; and*
<br />WHEREAS proper notice of the filing of said assessment diagram was given by
<br />the City Clerk of the City of Redwood City by posting, causing to be published, and
<br />mailing notices of the assessment to each person owning property to be assessed;

<br />WHEREAS a hearing was held on December 6, 1948, in the City Hall of the City
<br />-
<br />of Redwood City, at which time all written protests were read; and
<br />WHEREAS, on motion by the City Council of the City of Redwood City, on Dec-
<br />ember 6, 1948, it was determined that Assessment No. 15 of. said assessment diagram
<br />should be for an amount of $190.68 instead of $308.30, and the City Engineer was
<br />directed to amend the assessment in that respect; and
<br />WHEREAS all other written protests, if any, were overruled
