'Mrd Jain estimated that the City's <br />work would cost -$1,000, which was tabulated in detail and submitted with the report. <br />It was Mr. Rolison's recommendation that this amount be transferred from Unbudgeted <br />Reserve to Painting Supplies and Services, and requested that an additional $500 be <br />transferred to take care of the purchase of certain stop signs, slow caution and <br />school caution signals, speed 1•imit and speed -load limit signs which were recommended <br />from time to time by the Traffic Fact -Finding Committee. Councilman Morgan moved that <br />recommendation be accepted, seconded by Councilman Swift. Councilman Granger ques- <br />tioned this and thought some of this expense could be charged to the Gas Tax Funds. <br />Motion was withdrawn by the maker, with the consent of the second. Councilman <br />Morgan moved this be placed on the agenda for further study, seconded by Councilman <br />Swift, and carried. <br />TRAFFIC REPORT ON SOUTHERN PACIFIC DEPOT. Mr. Rolison suggested that representative of <br />Commuters meet with the Traffic Division on a Friday evening as soon as more data <br />was ready. Councilman Morgan moved this be placed on the agenda until next meet- <br />ing, seconded by Councilman Spillers, and carried. <br />ABATEMENT ASSENZA PROPERTY, 537-541 MIDDLEFIELD ROAD. Councilman Britschgi moved that <br />affidavit of posting and mailing be filed. City Attorney Currie stated Mr. <br />Assenza was willing to proceed as soon as he was well enough to attend the meeting. <br />Councilman Britschgi moved that this be duly and regularly continued until the next <br />regular December meeting, seconded by Councilman Morgan, and carried. <br />ABATEMENT MANLEY PROPERTY, 509 Allerton Street. Building Inspector Duncan reported that <br />both Mr. Manley and Solari had taken out a permit to remodel the buildings, Mr. <br />Manley to tear down the old building in the rear. Councilman Britschgi moved that <br />this be duly and regularly continued to the first meeting in January for the Manley <br />property and SOLARI PROPERTY, 260 Topaz, seconded by Councilman Morgan, and carried. <br />ABATEMENT POOLE PROPERTY, 831 Jefferson Street. Counci-lman G ranger stated the Boy <br />Scouts did not want the building on this property, and moved that a letter be sent <br />to the owner asking for his intentions on action in regard to the building, seconded <br />by Councilman Morgan, and carried. <br />RESOLUTION No. 639. Personal Bonds, Fire, Burglary and Robbery Insurance premiums were <br />not anticipated when the budget was set up as the premiums were paid every three <br />years.
