PUBLIC EEARI <br />R E S 0 L U T 1 0 N No. 926 protest <br />RESOLUTION ORDEING VACATION AND ABANDONMENT ;RESOLUTION 9 <br />OF PORTION OF AN ALLEYWAY RUNNING OFF WOOD - <br />SIDE ROAD BETWEEN EL CAMINO REAL AND LINDEN adoptio <br />STREET <br />Councilr <br />WHEREAS the Council of the City of Redwood City, on June 5, 1950, passed and <br />adopted Resolution No. 879, which resolution declard said Council's intention to <br />vacate and abandon a portion of an alleywaJ running off Woodside Road between E1 <br />Camino Real and Linden Street in the City of Redwood City; and <br />V411EREAS said resolution fixed the date of July 3, 1950 as the date of the bear, <br />Ing in the City Hall, at the hour of 8;00 o'clock P.M., on said Council's intention <br />to vacate and abandon said portion of an alleyway running off Woodside Road between <br />El Camino Real and Linden Street In the City of Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS the Super intendentof Streets of the City of Redwood City conspicuously <br />posted along said portion of an alleyway proposed to be vacated and abandoned, in <br />three (3) places along said portion of an dleyway, and at least ten (10) days before <br />the date fixed for the hearing of said abandonment, a notice of intention to vacate <br />a certain portion of an alleyway running off Woodside Read between El Camino Real <br />and Linden Street in the City of Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS said Resolution No. 879 was duly published in the Redwood City Tribune, <br />a daily (except Sunday) newspaper, published,, printed and circulated in the City of <br />Redwood City, all as required by law; and <br />WHEREAS all protests or objections to the abandonment and vacation of said per• <br />tion of said dleyway were duly overruled and denied; and <br />s <br />WHEREAS said hearing was dul,4 and regularly continued until August 7, 1950; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Redwood City <br />does hereby declare and order that the real property hereinafter described is vacat' <br />ed and abandoned as a public alley; <br />Beginning at a point 104.07 feet from the point on Woodside Road <br />where the easterly edge of said present alley intersects Woodside Road; <br />running thence South 47056' 3011 East 150 feet; thence South 460 471 4011 <br />West 35.80 feet; thence South 410 511 1011 West 50.00 feet; thence North <br />530 081 40'1 West 33,50 feet; thence North 840 301 West 10,61 feet;�thence <br />North 470561 3011Vdest approximately 50 feet to a point on the westerly <br />side of the present alley where the prolongation of the line dividing <br />Lots 3 and 4 feet North 420o03d1 301 East tto the with spoiinaidtof'beginningt right angle 25 <br />Being a portion of the same alley which was accepted by the City <br />of Redwood City on January 20, <br />at Page 38. 1941 as shows by the endorsement on Map <br />Five Points Commercial Tract, filed March 1, 1941 in Book 23 of Maps <br />
