It <br />was thought this improvement would not be justified because of the expense involved, <br />Purchase of house and lot would cost the City $4500. Councilman Herkner moved <br />approval of recommendation, seconded by Councilman Royer and carried. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION RECO1,31ENDED DENIAL FRANK LAUDA JR TO RESUBDIVIDE LOT 1, Block 7, OAK <br />KNOLL MANOR (NE CORNER OAK KNOLL DRIVE & HILLVIEW AVE). The one lot would be con- <br />siderbly under the required 6000 square feet. Councilman Spillers moved approval of <br />I <br />Planning Commission denial, seconded by Councilman Jones and carried. <br />PLANNING COIr1MISSION RECOMIAENDED APPROVAL RESUBDIVISION PORTION LOT 17 (REAR OF 410 WEST <br />OAKLAND BLVD), E C PALMIR. No agreement could be reached on getting portion of <br />Stettheimer property for a. roadway. It was therefore recommended that approval be <br />made subject to (1) 16t easement for road set up on SIly line of property, (2) 251 <br />easement for road purposes be set up to rear of proposed lots adequate to provide <br />access. (3) Fee title to an area 1501 x 501 given to parties getting title to nev, <br />lots, (4) building setback to be 50' from rea Y line of Palmer property, (5) if <br />property sold before constrvetion re-application must be made for resubdivision. <br />Councilman Spillers moved approval of Planning Commission recommendation, seconded <br />by Councilman Jones and carried. <br />ORDINANCE ESTAIBLISHING PRObESSIONAL OFFICES IN R -DISTRICTS. Affidavit of publication WAS <br />ordered filed by the Mayor. <br />ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING PROFESSIONAL OFFICES IN R -DISTRICTS. Councilman <br />Spillers moved adoption of ordinance, seconded by Councilman Jones. On roll call <br />the vote tied, Councilmen: Granger, Herkner and Britschgi voting No. Councilmen <br />i <br />Morgan noted absent. Adoption lost on tie vote. Councilman Jones moved this matter �S) <br />be duly and regularly continued to the next regular meeting, seconded by Councilman <br />Royer and carried. <br />NOTICE TO OIRCULATr PETITTUPT, ANNEX PORTION OF HIGHLA14DS OF E12ERAIDLAKE.
