Councilman Morgan 139 <br />offered resolution and moved adoption, seconded by Councilman Jones and carried on <br />roll call, Idayor Britschgi noted absent. <br />RES 0 L U T ION No. 956 <br />RESOLUTION FIXING IrtINIMUM WAGE SCALE <br />OAK, REESE and JOHNSON STREETS <br />wHEREAS the City Engineer of Redwood 'Jity has ascertained the general prevailin <br />rate •of per diem wages in the locality in which said public work is proposed to be g <br />per- <br />formed for aoAugustsiIF milar <br />1950character <br />thet�ouncilofRedwood that described <br />Resolution of Intention <br />No. 954, adopted <br />V,1HEREAS said rate of per diem wages is set forth and contained in the specifica- <br />alsotions <br />in°theaoffiiceJofttheoClerkoofwsaid City; andare on le in the office of said Engineer and <br />Vr,MEAS the Council of Redwood City has duly considered said scale and find the <br />same to be correct in all particulars; <br />NOW,THEREFORE, the Council of Redwood City resolves as follows; <br />1. That said wage scale as set forth in the .specifications for the above-mentioned <br />project is hereby adopted as the prevailing; rate of per diem wages for work of a <br />similar character to that above described in the locality in which said public work <br />is proposed to be performed. <br />2. That no less than said general prevailing rate of per diem wages shall be <br />paid for any work proposed to be performed under said Resolution of Intention No. 954. <br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular <br />adjourned meeting thereof', held on the 28th day of August, 1950, by the following vote <br />AYES, and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing resolution, <br />Councilmen; HERKNER, JONES, MORGAN, ROYER, SPILLERS and GRANGER. <br />NOES, <br />ABSENT, <br />ATTEST; <br />Councilmen; <br />Councilmen; <br />N ONE . <br />BRITSCHGI. <br />RALPH S.
